Ludhiana 10 November 2025-The Human Resource Management Centre, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana organized a 10 days Faculty Induction Program (FIP) aimed at equipping new faculty members with essential skills and knowledge. The program was aimed to orient the newly recruited faculty to the academic administrative and ethical framework of the university as well as to enhance their teaching research and extension arena. The induction program included interactive expert talks, hands-on sessions and a tour to different departments of colleges at campus and nearby research institutes.
The program featured a diverse array of learning modules related to university governance and functioning, Academic and examination systems, research ethics, career advancement and promotion policies, PG Students mentoring, extension services of university and purchase procedure guidelines etc. Eminent speakers and senior faculty members shared their expertise and experience. The participants expressed that the program was highly beneficial as it provided them with comprehensive understanding of the University system and their multifaceted roles as educators, mentors and researchers.
Dr J.P.S. Gill, Vice Chancellor of the University stated that such continuous professional development programs and adherence to high academic standards are essential for quality educational and institutional growth. The program concluded with a valedictory session and distribution of certificates to the participants.
