CHANDIGARH,15.10.25-Enactus SSBUICET team of Panjab University showcased its spirit of sustainability and social innovation at MCM Fest 2025 and Tarang Fest 2025 today, presenting its flagship social entrepreneurship initiatives: Project DHRA and Project ARPAN. Project Dhra focuses on reviving the traditional art of pottery while supporting sustainable livelihoods for local artisans, whereas Project Arpan, a collaborative initiative with Municipal Corporation Chandigarh gives new life to temple floral waste by transforming it into eco-friendly incense sticks and compost. Both initiatives embody Enactus PU’s mission to merge environmental awareness with social entrepreneurship, shared Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor of Enactus and President of Corporate Sustainability Council, WICCI Chandigarh

At MCM Fest, the Enactus stall drew wide appreciation for its eco-conscious and purpose-driven display. The event was graced by Ms. Harpreet Kaur Babla, Mayor of Chandigarh, as Chief Guest and RJ Meenakshi as Guest of Honour. Principal Ms. Neena Sharma commended the team’s dedication to social causes, while RJ Meenakshi lauded the fragrance and concept behind the incense products and commended the Enactus team for their wonderful initiative, recognizing their efforts toward sustainability and innovation, conveyed Harshnoor, President of Enactus team.

At Tarang Fest, organized by the Centre for Social Work, Panjab University, the vibrant Enactus stall captivated visitors with its eco-friendly products and inspiring mission, shared Project Head Samardeep Kaur. Both events witnessed an enthusiastic response and meaningful engagement, as visitors showed genuine interest in supporting the causes. The team members interacted passionately with the crowd explaining the mission, process and impact of each initiative, said Mukti, General Body Member of Team.
