Patran/Patiala, August 2: The Aam Aadmi Party government led by Bhagwant Singh Mann has failed miserably in providing justice to the poor people of Punjab. Recently, two persons from village Niyal near Patran committed suicide on charges of theft. Protests and demonstrations have been going on for the last seven days against this. The administration seems to have failed to arrest the main culprits who forced them to commit suicide. This was expressed by the state vice president of BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha, Paramjit Singh Kainth, while addressing the protest and demonstration. He said that the voice of the poor section is being suppressed and their lives and property are not being protected. From the Deputy Commissioner Patiala and Senior Superintendent of Police level to the state and district level officials and politicians did not pay any attention to the victim's family. Aam Aadmi Party has a cabinet minister, former cabinet minister and 6 MLAs from Patiala district. Condemning this attitude of the administration and the government, BJP leader Paramjit Singh Kainth said that this is not acceptable at any cost. BJP leader Kainth said that after my conversation with the Deputy Superintendent of Police of Patran, the Prevention of Injustice and Atrocities Act 1989 has been invoked in the FIR but the real culprits have not been caught yet. He said that the poor victim families should get justice and compensation. Appreciating the struggle being waged by the organizations to get justice for the victims, he saluted their struggle and said that due to their struggle, the victim family will definitely get justice and compensation and the government and administration will have to bow down and the victims of poor families will get success and justice. Nirmal Singh Niyal, Gurmel Singh, Dr. Bahadur Singh, Vicky Rai, Lalit Sharma and Chirag Singla were also present on the occasion among others.
