Action against Excise Act
Chandigarh Police Arrested Pankaj Kumar R/o # 1094, Phase-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh from open ground kabadi market Hallo Majra, Chandigarh and recovered 89 half tango santra masaledar desi liquor (180 ml each) and 36 half moto santra masaledar desi liquor (180 ml each) from his possession. A Case FIR No. 123 U/S 61-1-14 Excise act has been registered in Police Station -31 Chandigarh. Later on, accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Chandigarh Police arrested one lady R/o # Dadu Majra Chandigarh from back side community centre open ground DMC Chandigarh and recovered Desi wine marka jamila Santra total 52 quarter 180 ml each from her possession. A Case FIR No.77 U/S 61-1-14 Excise act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. Later on accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
One arrested in Gambling Act
Chandigarh Police arrested Anuj Kumar R/O # 4861/1 4th floor Sector-38 West Chandigarh from near Shitla Mata Mandir in front of park DMC Chandigarh while gambling and recovered cash RS 1210/- from his possession. A Case FIR No 78 U/S 13/A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. Later on, accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
One arrested in Attempt to murder Case
A Case FIR No. 97 U/S 115(2), 118(2), 109, 351, 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Rahul R/o # 604 Shastri Nagar Manimajra, Chandigarh against Ajit, Amit and others all R/o # 3816 Mauli Complex, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. They attacked on complainant and his friend Jitender R/o # 604 Shastri Nagar Mani Majra, Chandigarh with knife near Kisan Mandi Sector-15, Chandigarh Rahul and Jitender got injured and admitted to GMSH-16 Chandigarh, later on Jitender refer to PGI, Chandigarh. During the investigation accused Raj Kumar R/o # 3816 Mauli Complex, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.
