Chandigarh, June 29 – A mass listening event of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was held today in Gurugram. The occasion was graced by the presence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Sh Jagat Prakash Nadda, Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, BJP Haryana State President Sh Mohanlal Badoli and Minister for Industry & Commerce and Environment Rao Narbir Singh.
The event took place at the GNH Convention Center in Booth No. 4 in the Badshahpur Assembly constituency. Senior party leaders, local citizens, and BJP workers gathered to listen to the Prime Minister’s address and engage in meaningful interaction.
Speaking to the media after the programme, Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini highlighted that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ showcases the inspiring stories of everyday citizens who contribute to the nation through their dedication and efforts. He said that the programme serves as a source of motivation for both the common man and future generations.
Following the broadcast, senior leaders also distributed Ayushman Cards to eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. This initiative aims to ensure that government welfare schemes effectively reach those most in need. The event was part of a broader effort to strengthen public engagement and trust. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of citizens and party workers.
Chief Minister plants sapling, Urges public to join ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, along with BJP National President Sh JP Nadda and Environment Minister Rao Narbir Singh, planted saplings along the forest corridor developed by the Forest Department over the Badshahpur Drain near Vatika Chowk. He urged the people of Haryana to actively participate in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, aimed at promoting environmental conservation. The Chief Minister said that under this initiative, every citizen should pledge to plant and nurture a tree in honour of their mother. He said that this noble effort will not only contribute to a greener Haryana but also play a vital role in addressing the challenges of climate change.

Chandigarh, June 29: Haryana Public Works Department and Public Health Engineering Minister Sh Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that Sant Kabir dedicated his life to uniting society and eliminating superstition. He was a visionary saint who spread the message of humanity, rising above barriers of caste, creed and social divisions.
Sh Ranbir Gangwa was speaking as the chief guest at the 627th Prakash Utsav of Sant Kabir, organized at Sant Kabir Hostel in Hisar on Sunday. On this occasion, he announced a grant of Rs 21 lakh for the hostel and lauded its management for providing a conducive environment for students. He assured that the government would continue supporting such institutions to further enhance the facilities for students.

Narendra Modi’s "Mann Ki Baat" programme, he spoke about the success of Operation Sindoor and also encouraged people to plant trees in memory of soldiers. 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, Ek Podha Veer jawan Ke Naam' a unique blend of environmental protection and patriotism.
He stated that every tenth soldier in the Indian Armed Forces hails from Haryana, which is a matter of immense pride for the state. He urged the people of Haryana to plant more trees in memory of the brave soldiers who serve the nation. He said that launching the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam – 2.0” campaign from Charkhi Dadri, he called upon citizens to actively participate in this noble initiative.
The Forest Minister stated that the goal is to plant 2 lakh saplings in each district every year. He assured that all planted trees will be protected and nurtured for at least the next five years to ensure they develop strong roots and contribute to creating a long-lasting green cover across the state.

India’s young generation will lead the country towards becoming a Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat by 2047: Sports Minister Gaurav Gautam
Chandigarh, June 29 – Minister of State for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, Sports, Law and Legislative, Sh. Gaurav Gautam, said that it is the responsibility of teachers and social organizations to identify and nurture young talent by providing them with the right opportunities and platforms. He stated that every child possesses hidden potential — it simply needs to be recognized and refined.
The Sports Minister was speaking as the Chief Guest at the felicitation ceremony held in Palwal on Sunday, after felicitating students who secured top ranks in JEE and NEET exams.
Sh. Gaurav Gautam said that India’s young generation will play a key role in making the country Viksit and Atmanirbhar by the year 2047. Addressing the youth, he advised them never to look for shortcuts in life. Instead, achieve success through sincere efforts.
