A Case FIR No 116 U/S 126(2), 109, 351((2), 351(3), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurmeet Singh R/o # 934, Phase-1 Ramdarbar Chandigarh against Varun and Nikhil both are attack on the complainant with knife near PRTC workShop, Phase-2, Industrial Area Chandigarh on 16.06.2025. During the investigation, accused Nikhil R/o # 1502 Phase-1 Ramdarbar Chandigarh was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Ritak R/o # Village Bhauri Ganj District Gonda (UP) from back side Shop no 01 Grain Market Sector 26 Chandigarh on 16.06.2025 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No 65 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in Excise Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Rohit R/o # 1277, NIC Manimajra Chandigarh from parking near railway fatak IT Park, Chandigarh on 16.06.2025 and recovered 62 NIPS of Illicit Liquor mark from his possession. A Case FIR No 47 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station IT- Park Chandigarh and later on accused released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in Disobeying the order of DM

Chandigarh Police arrested Rahul Arora R/o # 43 Chaman Garden, Railway road, Karnal Haryana who was running Immigration agency at SCO No 62-63, 1^st floor Sector 17 Chandigarh without any registration and permission and disobeyed the order of DM, UT, Chandigarh. A Case FIR no 83 U/S 223 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh, and later on accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in Culpable homicide/Concealing evidence

A Case FIR No 40 U/S 105, 238 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sarangpur Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohmad Irsad R/o # 1993/B EWS Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh against Suraj R/o # Bardana Market Grain Market Sector 26 Chandigarh, one lady and Suraj walking together at Sukhna Lake while they were walking together lady told that a snake has bitten her and she fell on ground and suraj lifted her to GH-16 in his rikshaw when he reached slip road of GH-16 Chandigarh he checked and found lady dead. He threw her dead body in the bushes near nala on the road between Lake Dhanas to Khuda Lahora. During the investigation Suraj was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 139 U/S 223 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh on the complaint of SH. Pradhuman Singh Director Transport UT, Chandigarh against Joginder Singh, Om Parkash no 537, Ravish Kumar driver no 124, Malkiat Singh driver no 146, Hakam Singh conductor no 389 and others were holding a illegal dharna pradarshan at ISBT 43 Chandigarh on 16.06.2025. A Case FIR No 50 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 3 Chandigarh on the complaint of Surinder Kumar R/o # Ward no 12, Julana District Jind Haryana and others against Gourav Sharma, Sanny Bhatia and others M/S SCO No 16-17 Sector 9 Chandigarh, they cheated with complainant Rs. 38 lakh regarding providing of visa. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 82 U/S 318(4), 61(2) BNS & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Shashank Sharma R/o # 1547, Gali no 03 Dera Bassi, District Mohali Punjab against Anubhav Garg owner of World Walk Immigration and consultant SCO No 110-111 2^nd floor Sector 17 Chandigarh who cheated with complainant R.s 7,55,000/- regarding providing of visa.
