CHANDIGARH,11 June 2025-Representatives of Chandigarh Teachers Association met Education Secretary Prerna Puri and informed her about the objectives and policies of the association.

Today, representatives of Chandigarh Teachers Association (CTA), prominent among them were Satnam Singh, Arvind Rana, Gagan Singh Shekhawat, Ajay Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Praveen Kaur and Ujagar Singh met Education Secretary Prerna Puri and got her blessings and informed her about the objectives and policies of the newly formed organization as Chandigarh Teachers Association.

The representatives said that there is always an invisible wall between the Chandigarh Administration and the government school teachers due to which many times difficulties are being faced in getting the work done. They said that our effort will be to break this wall and take forward the pending issues of the teachers. They clarified that the rights of the teachers are being violated in Chandigarh and which Chandigarh Teachers Association will play an important role in removinf those obstacles.

The representatives said that in the coming times, they will also meet Chandigarh Administrator and Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria and raise the problems of teachers before him.
