Chandigarh Police arrested Shiva R/o #1763, Sector 25 Chandigarh (age – 42) yrs from near Govt. Model High School Sector 25, Chandigarh On 27-05-2025 and recovered 6.6 grams Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No 75 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Four arrested in Snatching Case

A Case FIR No 59 U/S 304, 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complainant of Pushpinder Rana Village Maloya Chandigarh against Jitender Kumar @ Munna R/o #Sunny Enclave, Kharar, Mohali Punjab (age –19) yrs who snatched away mobile phone from complainant grandfather near his house on 27.05.2025. During the investigation, accused Jatinder Kumar was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 102 U/S 304(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police

Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Anchul R/o # 269 Village Hallomajra Chandigarh against 3 unknown persons on m/cycle snatched away cash Rs. 1400/- and Aadhar card from complainant near Shiv Mandir Mandir Phase 2 Ramdarbar Chandigarh on 26.05.2025. During the investigation, accused Shubham R/o # 953 Ramdarbar Chandigarh, Sanjay R/o # 76 phase 2 Ramdarbar and Harsh R/o # 404 Phase 1 Ramdarbar Chandigarh were arrested. One arrested in consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Devinder Thakur R/o # 1059, Sector 29/B Chandigarh (age-48) yrs from open parking Gogna Store Sector 29 Chandigarh on 27.05.2025 while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No 41 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act 2007 has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh. Later on, the accused was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Action against Gambling Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Sandeep R/o #1867, near Saini Gurudwara, Village Burail Chandigarh from Auto stand Village Burail Chandigarh on 27.05.2025 while playing Dara sata and recovered cash Rs. 1320/- from his possession. A Case FIR No 74 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh Later on accused released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 76 U/S 125(A), 281 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh on the complainant of Mahinder Singh R/o # 1031 Dadumajra Chandigarh against driver of unknown car who hit to complainant auto no CH01TC-3684 at PGI Chowk on 26.05.2025. Victim sustained injuries got admitted to GH-16 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 76 U/S 115(2), 118(1), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Aakash R/o # 1385 Village Burail Chandigarh against one juvenile R/o # Village Burail Chandigarh and others who quarreled and assault complainant near juvenile house Village Burail Chandigarh. A Case FIR No 103 U/S 115(2), 127(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Rohit Kumar R/o # 1969 Village Burail Sector 45 Chandigarh against Seva Singh and other Police official of PP Hallomajra Chandigarh, they manhandled and beaten to complainant mercilessly with sticks, punches, slaps and kicks at Police Post Hallomajra Chandigarh on 15.03.2025. A Case FIR No 69 U/S 406, 120/B IPC has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh on the complainant of Ravi Sinha R/o # C/o M/S crop care pesticides India private limited Derabassi Mohali Punjab against Monu Kumar and one lady both R/o # 642, Sector 25 Chandigarh who cheated with complainant for Rs. 21,58,414/- which was give by complainant to pay GST.
