Chandigarh, September 20: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that strict action will be taken if any negligence is found during the procurement of paddy. He said that all necessary arrangements should be made to ensure that farmers do not face any difficulty or inconvenience during the procurement season. The Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal is being reopened for farmers from September 21 to 27 to submit their applications. Farmers whose verification is pending have been advised to submit their applications to the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM).
The Chief Minister was addressing a meeting held at the Babain Market Committee office on Sunday. Farmers, arhtiyas, traders, rice millers and administrative officials attended the meeting. The Chief Minister discussed paddy procurement arrangements with the officials and issued necessary directions to the Food and Supplies Department and the Mandi administration.
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that information had been received regarding pending verification of farmers' crops and cases where applications had not been submitted on the MFMB portal. In view of this, the government has directed officials to reopen the portal. The portal will remain open from September 21 to 27, during which farmers can submit their applications. Farmers whose applications are pending verification should submit a written request to their concerned SDM so that the verification can be completed.
He said that the government has been implementing policies and schemes for farmers since the very beginning. All 24 crops of farmers in the state are being procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP), while farmers growing vegetable crops are being provided the benefit of the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Rs. 6,000 is being transferred directly into farmers' bank accounts annually. Farmers' crops are also being covered under crop insurance schemes, while agricultural machinery is being provided to farmers at subsidised rates.

Chandigarh, September 20: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the government has conducted a survey of schools across the state and identified 150 schools whose buildings will be reconstructed. The government has released Rs. 400 crore for taking up the construction of these buildings at the earliest. He said that by receiving quality education in better school buildings, the youth of Haryana will play an important role in fulfilling the vision of a Viksit Bharat. He further said that families living in houses with kutcha roofs will be provided Rs. 80,000 for converting them into pucca roofs. Applications for the assistance will soon be invited through a dedicated portal.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a programme organised in the Ladwa Assembly constituency on Sunday. He announced Rs. 21 lakh for development works in village Bir Kheri and Rs. 2 lakh for books for the village library. Similarly, he announced Rs. 50 lakh for construction of a community centre in village Anthedi and also announced beautification works at the cremation ground. He announced Rs. 21 lakh each for development works in villages Bargat Jatan and Bargat Thalipur, Rs. 2 lakh each for library books, and Rs. 11 lakh for the langar hall of the Shiv Temple. He said that the demands raised by the Gram Panchayats would be forwarded to the concerned departments for necessary action and completion.
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that during the Congress government, people in the state had to wait for several days even to get electricity. However, the state government has ensured 24-hour power supply to every village. He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the state government is providing free 2-kilowatt solar panels to families with an annual income of up to Rs. 1.80 lakh. As a result, electricity bills of these households have been reduced to zero. He said that fulfilling its electoral commitments, the government is providing free dialysis to kidney patients. Similarly, treatment of up to Rs. 5 lakh is being provided free of cost under the Ayushman scheme. These initiatives have strengthened the poor and the people at the bottom of the socio-economic pyramid in the state. In addition, colleges have been established at every 20-kilometre distance.
Departments Set Up Stalls and Help Desks
Help desks were set up by the district administration during the programmes organised by Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini in the Ladwa Assembly constituency. Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, various departments set up stalls in Kalirano and Sultanpur villages, where grievances of the general public were heard and applications were received from eligible beneficiaries for various government schemes.
During the programmes, departments including the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission, Animal Husbandry Department, District Social Welfare Department, Women and Child Development Department for the Lado Lakshmi Scheme, Parivar Pehchan Patra, AYUSH Department, Health Department, PM Matru Vandana Yojana and MSME Department set up stalls and informed the public about schemes and services related to their respective departments.

Chandigarh, September 20: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that eligible women belonging to families with an annual income of up to Rs. 1.80 lakh will receive the benefit of the Lado Lakshmi Yojana from November. The government has fulfilled its promise of providing Rs. 2,100 per month to women by implementing the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. The scheme was expanded on September 17, on the occasion of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s birthday, and families with an annual income of up to Rs. 1.80 lakh have now been included among the beneficiaries. He said that following the expansion of the scheme, the portal has been opened for applications and eligible women will start receiving the benefit from November 1. Earlier, families with an annual income of up to Rs. 1 lakh were eligible for the scheme. So far, more than Rs. 2,000 crore has been transferred online to the bank accounts of eligible women.
The Chief Minister was speaking at Jan Samvad programmes organised in the Ladwa Assembly constituency on Sunday.
He said that the government has provided government jobs to 2 lakh youth in the state over the last 12 years on the basis of merit, without ‘Kharchi-Parchi’. Earlier, under the previous government, candidates had to seek money and recommendations to secure government jobs, but now the son of a poor family can get a government job, from Group-D to HCS, purely on the basis of merit. He said that development works are being carried out at a rapid pace under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi.
At village Kalirano, the Chief Minister announced Rs. 21 lakh for village development and Rs. 2 lakh for library books. Similarly, he announced Rs. 21 lakh for the development of Sultanpur village and Rs. 5 lakh for the Gurudwara Sahib. He also announced Rs. 21 lakh each for village Sonti, village Bir Sonti and the Gurudwara Sahib in the villages. Former Minister of State Sh. Subhash Sudha and OSD to the Chief Minister Sh. Mahendra Saini were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said that before the elections, the Haryana Government had made 217 commitments to the people, of which 70 have so far been fulfilled, while work on the remaining commitments is being carried out at a rapid pace. He said that immediately after taking oath, the government had started working towards fulfilling its commitments. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, a network of roads has been developed across the state to connect various areas with national highways and other major roads.
The Chief Minister said that Haryana was the first state in the country to start procuring all 24 crops produced by farmers at Minimum Support Price (MSP). He said that Congress leaders are asking the government for details of the 24 crops, but they themselves do not have complete knowledge about the types of crops being produced by farmers in the state. He alleged that the opposition is now spreading misinformation among farmers in the name of MSP. He said that no farmer in the state now dumps his crop on the road, as the state government has addressed this problem by implementing the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana. Under the scheme, if farmers receive a lower price for their produce in the mandis, the government compensates them for the difference in price.
He said that the Congress government had provided only Rs. 137 crore to farmers as compensation for crop losses during its tenure, whereas the present government has provided Rs. 16,500 crore to farmers for crop losses.

Government Takes Major Decision in the Interest of Farmers, ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ Portal Reopened for Crop Registration
Chandigarh, September 20: The Haryana Government, in a relief to farmers who could not register their crops on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal during the Kharif-2026 season, has provided another opportunity for crop registration.
A government spokesperson said that the portal will be reopened from September 21 to September 27. During this period, all eligible farmers can register details of their agricultural land and crops on the portal or get the details registered by visiting the office of the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil).
The land and crop details submitted by farmers will be verified through satellite data as well as ground truthing and field inspections by the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil). The administration has clarified that crop registration on the portal will be considered valid only after completion of the verification process.
The State Government has appealed to farmers to provide complete and accurate information regarding their land and crops at the time of registration, so that they do not face any difficulty during the verification process or subsequently while selling their produce. From September 21 to September 27, 2026, the concerned departmental officers and employees will provide necessary assistance and facilities to farmers for completing the crop registration process.
