*Energy Minister Anil Vij’s Jibe: “Congress Shuts Its Eyes to the Patriotic Light of the RSS—Just Like an Owl Fearing Brightness”*
*“Only Prime Minister Narendra Modi decides when, where, and whom to meet — not Rahul Gandhi,” - Anil Vij*
*“Akhilesh Yadav suddenly remembers grooms during the Bihar elections — is he one of the band members walking ahead or behind the groom?” - Vij*
Chandigarh, November 2 - Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh Anil Vij today launched a sharp counterattack on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement suggesting a ban on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Sh. Vij said the Congress Party has always been opposed to the RSS and has even imposed a ban on it three times in the past.
Taking a swipe, Vij remarked that “Just as an owl fears light and shuts its eyes when it sees brightness, similarly, the Congress closes its eyes when it sees a patriotic and principled organization like the RSS — one that is dedicated to nation-building. That is why they keep making such baseless remarks.”
While interacting with media persons today, Responding to a question about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s comment that Prime Minister Narendra Modi avoided visiting the U.S. out of fear of meeting President Donald Trump, Vij said that “It is Prime Minister Modi who decides when to travel, where to go, and whom to meet — not Rahul Gandhi. The number of world leaders PM Modi has met and the highest honors he has received from various nations are unmatched. No other Indian leader has achieved such global recognition.”
Commenting on Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav’s remark that Nitish Kumar is the BJP’s “election groom” and not the people’s choice for Chief Minister, Vij replied that “The BJP is contesting the Bihar elections with Nitish Kumar as its face, and the party has clearly stated that he will be the Chief Minister. The BJP always fulfills what it promises. I don’t understand why Akhilesh Yadav suddenly remembers grooms during elections — is he one of the band members who follow the groom? Bihar is in the middle of elections, and that’s what he’s thinking about!”
