The Chief Minister said that the State Government, guided by its commitment to harmony, goodwill, equitable growth, unity, and tolerance, has introduced reforms that have made life simpler, easier, and safer for the common citizen. People no longer need to visit multiple offices to access government services. In today’s Haryana, the hopes and aspirations of ordinary citizens are being fulfilled, and their dreams are turning into reality. Inspired by the teachings of saints and great personalities, the State Government remains dedicated to the welfare and upliftment of every section of society. Teachings of Saints and Great personalities remain vital to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Developed India
Nayab Singh Saini said that as the nation moves toward building a developed 21st-century India under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, the teachings of Sant Namdev Ji hold even greater significance. Under the Prime Minister’s guidance, the country is progressing with the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas,” a vision deeply inspired by the tradition of saints.
He said that saints, mahatmas, gurus, and great personalities are not only our priceless heritage but also our guiding inspiration. Their teachings are the shared legacy of all humanity, and it is our collective responsibility to preserve and promote them. To fulfill this objective, the government is spreading the message of saints and great men among the people through the “Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana.” The aim is to ensure that the younger generation draws inspiration and moral guidance from their lives and teachings. This event has been organized under that very scheme.
The Chief Minister added that to realize the vision of equality espoused by great men, the government has launched several schemes to uplift even the poorest sections of society. Following Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s philosophy of “Antyodaya,” the State Government is working to economically empower families who have remained underprivileged through the Antyodaya campaign.
Previous Governments used the OBC Community solely for Vote-Bank Politics
Targeting the opposition, the Chief Minister said that the OBC Commission had not existed before 2014. The then government used the OBC community merely for vote-bank politics, without ever granting them their rightful due. It was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who established the OBC Commission to ensure that members of the OBC community receive their rights and representation.
Nayab Singh Saini further stated that the Congress party has always exploited the poor and engaged only in vote-bank politics. In Haryana, the Congress government in 2013 had promised to allot 100-square yard plots to the poor, but people neither received ownership papers nor possession. They were left to run from pillar to post. After the present government came to power, both plot papers and possession were provided, fulfilling that long-pending promise.

He added that a Backward Classes Commission has been established to ensure the upliftment and welfare of backward classes.

Under the ‘Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana’, beginning this Haryana Day, 20 lakh sisters and daughters will receive financial assistance of Rs 2,100 each. Sant Namdev Ji was a symbol of equality, unity, and devotion to God - Ranbir Singh Gangwa
Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that great saints like Sant Namdev Ji Maharaj were not only pioneers of the Bhakti movement but also social reformers and messengers of equality. He emphasized that Sant Namdev Ji promoted social harmony, love, unity, and devotion to God as the highest purpose of life. Our saints and sages, he said, are not guides of any one caste or class, but of the entire society. Though born in different families, their teachings continue to enlighten and guide all of humanity.
He said that the State Government has set a new tradition of celebrating the birth anniversaries of saints and sages at the official level. Birth anniversaries of revered figures such as Sant Kabir Das, Guru Ravidas, Lord Vishwakarma, Lord Parashuram, and Sant Dhanna Bhagat are now observed with full respect and devotion. This practice was initiated by the Bharatiya Janata Party government, whereas earlier governments limited such observances to their own political or familial figures.
He added that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has ensured equal opportunities for every section of society. While previous governments denied employment to individuals from backward and disadvantaged communities, jobs are now being provided purely on the basis of merit and qualifications. Those who were once labeled as “unqualified” are now earning distinction for their communities by being selected for HCS and other prestigious services.
Ranbir Gangwa further said that the Namdev community is progressing towards self-respect and self-reliance through the State Government’s progressive policies. He said that under the Chief Minister’s leadership, citizens no longer need to plead for their rights, the government itself is ensuring that every individual receives what they are rightfully entitled to.
MLA Savitri Jindal, former Minister Captain Abhimanyu, former Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta, Hisar Mayor Praveen Popli, Satbir Verma, officials of the Namdev Sabha, and a large number of members of the community from across the state were present on this occasion.
