Chandigarh, July 4: Students of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women brought laurels to their alma mater by emerging as top achievers at the recently concluded Panjab University Youth Leadership Camp.

Ekum, one of the star performers at the event, secured First Prize in Debate, and was also adjudged the Second Runners-Up for Overall Camper, showcasing her remarkable leadership and oratory skills. Parishti added to the college’s pride by bagging the First Prize in Declamation, reaffirming the strength of MCM’s training in public speaking. She received two awards during the camp. Karika also contributed to the college’s victory tally by winning an award, taking the total number of prizes won by MCM students to six.

Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma lauded the students for their outstanding performance, calling them “true ambassadors of MCM’s spirit of excellence, eloquence, and leadership.” She added that these accolades are a testimony to the college’s commitment to holistic development and the grooming of confident, capable young women ready to lead.
