Mahendergarh,03.07.25- The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh has implemented a Compassionate Appointment Scheme for the family members of its regular employees. This scheme, approved by the Executive Council of the University, aims to provide economic, emotional, and social security to the dependent family members in case of the death or permanent incapacitation of a regular employee during service.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of CUH said that through this initiative, the University seeks to ensure financial stability for the families of its regular employees during difficult times. He added that the decision by the Executive Council reflects the University’s commitment to social sensitivity and institutional responsibility toward its members.
Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar of the University said that the objective of the Scheme is to grant appointment on compassionate grounds to a dependent family member of regular employee of the CUH dying in harness or who is retired on medical grounds, thereby leaving his family in penury and without any means of livelihood, to relieve the family of the University Employee (Regular) concerned from financial destitution and to help it get over the emergency.
