*Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij redressesto the grievances of people in Ambala Cantonment today*

Chandigarh, July 3- Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij today directed transport department officials to run a separate bus for women from Ambala to Mullana to ensure a convenient journey for women and girls.

Sh. Vij gave these instructions while redressing the grievances of people in Ambala Cantonment. The request for this bus service was made by the councillor of Ward No. 27. During this, Sh. Vij instructed relevant officials to resolve people's greivances and redressed many of it on the spot.

A resident of Railway Road in Ambala apprised that his 11-year-old child went missing while playing outside the house on June 29 and has not been found since. Despite informing the police, no report had been registered. In response, the Energy Minister instructed the DSP to register an FIR immediately and begin the search for the missing child.

In another complaint, a person said that a resident of Vijay Nagar, Babyal, continued to use electricity even after their connection was disconnected on December 12, 2024, due to non-payment of bills. This constitutes open electricity theft. Minister Vij directed the electricity department officials to file an FIR, recover the stolen electricity charges, and take appropriate legal action.

*Ensure proper water supply in Ward No. 19 – Vij*

The councillor of Ward No. 19 aprised to Sh. Vij, stating that the water supply issue in his area is worsening, and residents are not receiving water on time. Despite informing the concerned officials and staff, no action has been taken so far. Sh. Vij directed the Public Health Engineering Department to ensure water supply in the area so that residents do not face any difficulty.

*Full recovery of stolen goods in Ward No. 29 theft case – Vij*

A former candidate for the councillor position from Ward No. 29 complained that his house was recently burglarized. Although police have recovered around 30–35% of the stolen items, the rest remains untraced. Sh. Vij instructed the police officials to investigate the matter thoroughly, take strict action against the accused, and ensure the recovery of the remaining items as soon as possible.

Additionally, complaints related to medical bill reimbursements, school fee issues, pollution, etc., were reddressed and instructions were given to the relevant departments. Officials from the Municipal Council, Energy Department, Police Department, Public Health Engineering, Labour Department, Transport Department, PWD and other departments were also present on the occasion.
