The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, will conduct Open Counselling on September 10, 2026, to fill vacant seats in its B.Tech. programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates can apply online till September 9, 2026, for available seats in B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Printing and Packaging Technology.
The University clarified that its regular B.Tech. admission process has already been completed, and this Open Counselling round is being held specifically to fill seats that remain vacant across these programmes. The vacant seats will be filled only through JEE Main rank. If seats are still vacant after the merit-based JOSAA admission process concludes, eligible CUET candidates will also be considered, subject to eligibility criteria, merit, and seat availability.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor said technical education remains central to the nation's development, innovation, and self-reliance. He noted that, in keeping with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, higher education institutions must equip students with not just academic qualifications but also skills, research capability, innovation, and employability. CUH, he added, remains committed to delivering quality technical education alongside practical training and innovation opportunities to prepare students for evolving technological and industrial demands.
Prof. Vikas Garg, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, CUH, said eligible candidates can apply through the University's admission portal until September 9, 2026, ahead of the counselling session on September 10. He advised applicants to carefully review the eligibility criteria and admission guidelines before applying.
