MAHENDERGARH, 10.02.26-The Training and Placement Cell of the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, organised a Job Fair on Tuesday at the University campus in collaboration with the Gurugram Divisional Employment Office, with special support from the District Employment Office, Narnaul.

A total of 24 companies and organisations participated in the fair to provide employment opportunities to students. Prominent participants included Hamdard Foods, Holiday Inn, Sun Pharmaceutical, Max Healthcare, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Lal Path Labs, SBI Life Insurance, Blinkit, and Jupiter Pvt. Ltd. The event was attended by Gurugram Divisional Employment Officer Ms. Ritu Hudda and District Employment Officer, Narnaul, Mr. Ranjeet Rawat.
Mr. Kanwar Singh Yadav, MLA Mahendragarh was also present on the occasion. He described the job fair as an important platform opening new avenues of opportunity for youth. He noted that the participation of reputed companies enables students to engage directly with employers and strengthen their career prospects. He commended Vice Chancellor Prof.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor said that the University’s objective is not only to impart academic knowledge but also to connect students with real industry requirements. He observed that job fairs provide exposure to diverse work cultures, enable students to assess their competencies, and expand their career options. Expressing confidence in such initiatives, he said they help build competitiveness among youth and prepare them to contribute to national development. He also thanked the Gurugram Divisional Employment Office for its support.

Addressing students, the Vice Chancellor encouraged them to strive for excellence, noting that performance and preparedness determine employment outcomes. He invited participating companies to provide feedback to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and highlighted CUH as an attractive destination for national and international organisations, given its diverse student community representing over 25 states. He emphasised that universities must align skill development with industry needs and reiterated the University’s commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships so that capable students connect with suitable employers.

Dr. Divya, Director of the Training and Placement Cell, informed that 1,040 students from CUH, Indira Gandhi University Rewari, Chaudhary Bansi Lal University Bhiwani, and various government colleges across districts registered for the fair. Deputy Director Dr. Vikas Siwach, along with Dr. Sushil Kumar and Dr. Suyash Mishra, actively contributed to the organisation of the event.
