Chandigarh, 28 October 2025: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chandigarh Kendra, in collaboration with Rotary House, Chandigarh organised a Diwali Contribution Drive to send Diwali greetings and appreciation to Army personnel serving the nation. It aimed to honour the courage and dedication of soldiers, stationed in remote and challenging terrains, away from home during the festive season.

Students and staff from the three branches of Chandigarh Kendra contributed a total of ₹6.66 lakh, which was handed over to Rotary House for coordination. Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Honourable Governor of Punjab and Administrator, Chandigarh, flagged off the Army convoy carrying Diwali sweets as part of the initiative.

The gesture reflected Bhavan’s enduring commitment to empathy, service, and patriotic values — principles that lie at the heart of the institution’s ethos.
