MAHENDERGARH, 11.09.25-The Department of Commerce, Central University of Haryana, (CUH), Mahendergarh successfully concluded its two-day International Conference on “Global Synergies for Viksit Bharat 2047: Innovations in Banking, Finance & Business Management for Sustainable Development” with a grand valedictory session on September 11, 2025. Organized in collaboration with the Indian Accounting Association (South Haryana Branch) and the Centre for Sustainable Pathways to Viksit Bharat, with Vidya Bharati Uchcha Shiksha Sansthan, Haryana as the Knowledge Partner, the conference witnessed the presence of eminent academicians, scholars, and researchers from across the nation.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University and Chief Patron of the conference, in his address emphasized the significant role of academia in realizing India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, noting that innovations in banking and business management are vital for sustainable and inclusive growth.
Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) J.P. Yadav, Former Vice Chancellor of RRBM University, Alwar, delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting that India’s journey towards 2047 requires not just economic progress but also ethical governance, financial literacy, and a balance of technology with human values. Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor of CUH, underscored the importance of interdisciplinary research in building global synergies for development, while Prof. N.K. Bishnoi, Dean, Dept. of Economics, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, Guests of Honour, congratulated the organizers for fostering academic excellence through such collaborative platforms.
This platform provides an opportunity to for young researchers and students of CUH to interact with global experts, enhancing their academic exposure and encouraging cross-cultural understanding with exchange innovative ideas and strengthen academic partnerships beyond borders.”
A total of 346 registrations approximately has been received, representing 23 states of India, 94 universities and colleges are represented, out of which 21 Central Universities ,41 State and Private Universities, 30 colleges, 2 foreign delegates.
The valedictory session was coordinated under the leadership of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Organizing Secretary, along with; Prof. Rajendra Prasad Meena, Convenor, Department of Commerce delivered the vote of thanks to all the participants and Organizing team; Prof. Shushila Kumari Sooriya, Co-Director and Head of Commerce; and Prof. Suman, Conference Secretary, Department of Commerce. In their closing remarks, the dignitaries commended the scholarly contributions of participants and emphasized that such academic gatherings serve as think tanks for shaping policies and strategies crucial to India’s economic and social transformation.
