SHIMLA, 07.11.25- Chintpurni Sudarshan Babloo extending invitation of Mata Chintpurni Mahotsav- 2025 to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at Shimla on 7th November, 2025. This Mahotsav is being organised from 14th to 16th November. Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania, MLA Neeraj Nayyer and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal were also present on the occasion.

नादौन विधानसभा क्षेत्र के गांव मझेली और कड़साई का दौरा करेंगे मुख्यमंत्री
हमीरपुर 07 नवंबर। मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू शनिवार को नादौन विधानसभा क्षेत्र के एक दिवसीय दौरे पर रहेंगे। निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के अनुसार मुख्यमंत्री दोपहर करीब 12 बजे मझेली पहुंचेंगे और स्थानीय लोगों की समस्याएं सुनेंगे तथा जनसभा को संबोधित करेंगे।
इसके बाद वह ग्राम पंचायत सरेड़ी के गांव कड़साई में प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र की आधारशिला रखेंगे तथा जनसभा को संबोधित करेंगे। शाम को वह शिमला लौट जाएंगे।
उपायुक्त अमरजीत सिंह ने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री के दौरे के लिए सभी तैयारियां पूरी कर ली गई हैं। उन्होंने सभी विभागों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को मुख्यमंत्री के दौरे के दौरान व्यक्तिगत रूप से उपस्थित रहने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

Campaign against Chitta will be made a mass movement: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the campaign against Chitta in Himachal Pradesh would be transformed into a mass movement and participation of every citizen of the state in this movement was most important. He was chairing a review meeting here today regarding preparations for the Anti-Chitta Walkathon, to be held in Shimla on 15 November, 2025.
The Chief Minister said that registration for participation in this walkathon could be done by scanning a bar code. Various awareness activities would be organized during the walkathon from Ridge to Chaura Maidan which would be participated by the youth, students and people from various sections of society.
Sh. Sukhu directed the concerned departments to complete all preparations in a timely manner to make this event a success. This campaign would continue for the next three months and it was going to be a decisive battle against Chitta. He stated that the state government was committed to completely eradicate the Chitta and no person involved in this trade would be spared.
The Chief Minister said that after the state-level anti-Chitta walkathon, various events against would also be organized at the district and sub-divisional levels as well. The Cabinet members, all MLAs and prominent people from the society would also participate in these events.
Director General of Police Ashok Tiwari gave detailed information about various preparations for the walkathon.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary K.K. Pant, Additional Chief Secretary Shyam Bhagat Negi, Secretary to the Chief Minister Rakesh Kanwar, OSD Gopal Sharma and other senior officers were present in Shimla while Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of various districts joined the meeting virtually.
