Chandigarh 13 April-A creche for the Aaykar parivar was inaugurated in the Aaykar Bhawan, Sector 17E,Chandigarh by Sunita Puri, Principal Chief Commissioner of income Tax (Retd) in presence of Poonam Khaira Sidhu, Principal Chief Commissioner of income Tax, NWR, Pradip Mehrotra,CCIT,Panchkula, Manu Malik,CIT(Admn),Chandigarh ,Zenia Handa,CIT(OSD) ,Chandigarh .
Poonam Khaira Sidhu said that the creche would help the lady officials of Income Tax dept at Chandigarh in balancing both their roles namely practising their profession and also fulfilling their responsibility as mothers.
She further said that the facility is equipped with amenities to take care of a growing child’s daily needs and provisions for engaging them in various indoor and outdoor activities, under the supervision of qualified care-givers. The crèche facility will be run in association with the Dept of Social Welfare, Chandigarh.
She thanked Vinay Pratap Singh ,DC,Chandigarh and Shalini Chetal, Director,Dept of Social Welfare, Chandigarh for their cooperation in setting up and professionally managing the crèche at Aaykar Bhawan.
