CHANDIGARH,23.09.21-Dr. Mahesh Prakash working as Professor in the department of Radiodiagnosis, PGIMER, Chandigarh has been honoured by Asian Musculoskeletal Society (AMS) during 23rd Annual meeting of the Society held from 16th-19th September 2021 at Visakhapatnam for his immense contribution to education and teaching of MSK Radiology in Asian region. He is the current Chairman of Education committee of AMS. The society’s main role is to provide platform for the exchange of knowledge in a rapidly advancing field of musculoskeletal radiology by promoting awareness, teaching and training to medical professionals of Asian countries who deals in diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders like orthopaedic trauma, sports injuries, arthritis, tumours and other related diseases. Prof M.S. Sandhu, Head of the department stated that Dr. Mahesh Prakash has been the founder and has served the Indian MSK society as Honorary Secretary and President in the past and also been the recipient of honours in various other countries in previous years.
