SHIMLA -30 August, 2026-Chirag Bhanu Singh was sworn in as a Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, while Bhupesh Sharma and Yogesh Jaswal were sworn in as Additional Judges of the High Court during an impressive official ceremony held at Lok Bhavan today.

Governor Kavinder Gupta administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Judge and Additional Judges.

Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia was also present on the occasion.

Chief Secretary K.K. Pant conducted the proceedings of the oath-taking ceremony and read out the warrants of appointment issued by the President of India appointing Chirag Bhanu Singh as Judge and Bhupesh Sharma and Yogesh Jaswal as Additional Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.

Secretary to the Governor Sandeep Bhardwaj obtained the signatures of the Governor and the newly appointed Judge and Additional Judges on the oath forms.

Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, senior judicial, civil and police officers and other prominent persons were also present on the occasion.
