MUMBAI, 28.07.25-The Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCHRC) in New Chandigarh observed Sarcoma Awareness Month in July with an interactive session for patients, caregivers, and doctors.
Dr. Ashish Gulia, Director, highlighted the importance of early detection for sarcoma, a cancer originating in muscles or bones, and reassured attendees about available treatments and financial aid.
A medical team addressed patient queries, emphasizing complete treatment plans.
Additionally, HBCHRC hosted an anesthesia workshop on "Total Intravenous Anesthesia (TIVA) in Difficult Airway" as part of the ISA World SIVA Congress, focusing on practical training for medical professionals to enhance patient safety.
