Delimitation of Zila Parishad Wards Begins in Bilaspur
Deadline for Filing Objections: May 13, 2025
Bilaspur, May 7:The process of delimitation of Zila Parishad wards in Bilaspur district has officially commenced and is scheduled to be completed by or before May 31, 2025.
Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur, Rahul Kumar, informed that the draft notification for the delimitation of 14 wards of Zila Parishad Bilaspur has been issued under the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj (Election) Amendment Rules, 2025. Any person having objections or suggestions regarding this draft notification may submit them in writing either at the Deputy Commissioner's office or the District Panchayat Officer’s office, Bilaspur, by May 13, 2025. Final notification will be issued thereafter.
For the delimitation of Panchayat Samiti and Gram Panchayat wards, the Deputy Commissioner has authorized the Block Development Officers (BDOs) of Sadar, Ghumarwin, Jhandutta, and Shri Naina Devi Ji. The concerned BDOs will issue draft notifications for delimitation within their respective jurisdictions. Objections or suggestions related to these draft notifications must be submitted in writing to the respective BDO office or through the Panchayat Secretary within one week of notification issuance.

1. Hatwar Ward:
Bhapral, Lanjta, Kot Hatwar Bamm, Pantehda, Ghandalvi, Marhana Salaon-Uparli, Hambot, Laihri-Sarel, Barota, Tadaun, Gahar.
2. Dangar Ward:
Dangar, Padyalag, Daghol, Seu, Kasaru, Maradi Karloti, Chat, Sandhyar, Paplah, Palasla, Kotlu-Brahmana, Patta, Bari-Manjhedwan, Kapahda. (15 panchayats)
3. Kuthera Ward:
Mahri-Kathla, Ladda, Talwara, Pater, Kuthera Morsindhi, Dabla, Kothi, Tiyunkhas, Bhulswayen, Harlog, Luharvi, Ghumarwin, Dakri, Gatwad. (15 panchayats)
4. Nanawan Ward:
Hawan, Kuhmajuwad, Saryunkhas, Nanawan, Malyawar Rohin, Balhchurani, Aohar, Amarpur, Panol, Bakroa, Awari-Khaleen, Fatoh, Panoah, Talyana. (15 panchayats)
