Chandigarh, July 2026: The NSS Unit of GRIID, Sector 31-C, Chandigarh organized a Nukkad Natak and plantation drive in its adopted village, Ram Darbar, as part of Swachhta Pakhwada to promote environmental conservation and community participation.
Guided by Dr. M. Karuppasamy, Ms. Niharika, Programme Officers, and Ms. Shikha, Assistant Professor, NSS volunteers staged a street play highlighting the importance of cleanliness, environmental protection, and sustainable living.
The plantation drive was conducted in collaboration with Ms. Neha, Municipal Councillor, Ram Darbar, during which volunteers and local residents planted saplings to encourage a greener environment.
The initiative reflected the NSS motto, “Not Me But You,” while strengthening community engagement and promoting environmental awareness.
