One person arrested in Accident case

A Case FIR No. 31 U/S 281, 106(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-03 Chandigarh on the complaint of Lakhbir Singh R/o # 430 Village- Kansal (Punjab) against Sahil Khan R/o Village- Dabkouri Distt- Panchkula. (Haryana) driver of Scorpio no. HR-71M-3900 who hit a motorcycle no. CH-01-AR-5228 at sec- 4/9 turn on 19-04 2026.motor cyclist namely Krishan Lal R/o village- Jagwa Distt- Pallanwala (J&K) got injured and was lifted to GMSH-16 Chandigarh. Where the duty doctor declared him brought dead. During the investigation the accused person was arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 58 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Jitender R/O Vpo- Sehri Distt- Sonipat (Haryana) against Daksh R/o # 362/2 Sector-45/A, Chandigarh driver of Activa no. CH-01CW-1379 (bike/taxi), complainant hired above taxi from railway station to mohali when they reach near mandi ground Sector-42/43 dividing road Activa struck with divider and complainant got injured and admitted in GMSH-16 Chandigarh on 13-04-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Two persons arrested in Ndps Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vijay Yadav R/o Jhuggi Nic Mani Majra, Chandigarh from near parking Nic Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 19-04-2026 and recovered 14.1 gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 41 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station IT Park Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sachin R/o # 1505/C Small Flats Dhanas, Chandigarh from near bus stop Sector-38/A, Chandigarh on 19-04 2026 and recovered 12 gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 53 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress

Three persons arrested in theft case

A case FIR No. 67 U/S 303(2), 317(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Vishal R/o # 1414 Ph-1 Ram Darbar, Chandigarh against Avnesh Kumar R/o # 115 Dadu Majra Colony, Chandigarh, Rahul R/o Village- Sorkhi Distt- Hisar (Haryana) and Sahil @ Babbu R/o # 105 Dadu Majra Colony, Chandigarh, they stole away complainant e-rickshaw from near tribune chowk from 18-04-2026 to 19-04-2026. During the investigation later on 2 accused persons Avnesh Kumar & Rahul were arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No.40 U/S 303(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station IT Park Chandigarh on the complaint of Sumit Sharma R/o # 61 Subash Nagar Mani Majra, Chandigarh against Sagar R/o # 2332 Nic Mani Majra, Chandigarh who cut the wire of his pick UP no. HR-45-D-7953 while parking in Subash Nagar, Mani Majra Chandigarh parking area, Chandigarh on 19-04-2026. During the investigation the accused Sagar R/o # 2332 Nic Mani Majra, Chandigarh was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 48 U/S 316(5), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # Vicarage Farm Road Heston Hounslow Uk against Ribhav Rishi Manager IDFC First Bank Sector-22/B, Chandigarh and others who cheated with complainant Rs 2.5 crore. Investigation of this case is in progress
