Chandigarh, April 4 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Anil Vij said that the Bharatiya Janata Party organizes training camps to ensure that party workers clearly understand the party’s ideology and policies. He emphasized that the BJP is fundamentally rooted in the principles of Antyodaya (upliftment of the last person) and cultural nationalism. He further highlighted that the party’s vision includes Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and good governance.
He underlined that for the BJP, attaining power is not about personal gain but about driving development.
Anil Vij was addressing BJP workers at a training workshop held under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Mega Campaign at Aggarwal Dharamshala in Ambala Cantonment.
*Training Programs Essential to Reinforce Party Ideology*
Sh.Vij said that such programs are necessary to familiarize workers with party principles and to update senior members. He expressed pride in stating that party workers in his city are always prepared for any responsibility, which is why party programs in the area consistently rank among the best.
*Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Ideology Guides the Party*
He described Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya as a great thinker and political inspiration. Referring to his philosophy of Integral Humanism, Vij said it promotes balanced development of body, mind, and soul, along with inclusive progress across all sections of society. He explained that Antyodaya means prioritizing the upliftment of the most deprived, ensuring that those left behind in development are brought forward to stand alongside the rest of society.
*Digitization Ensures Transparency and Full Benefit Transfer*
Sh.Vij highlighted that bureaucratic red tape has been reduced through digitization at both central and state levels. Today, many government services are technology-driven.He pointed out that if ₹100 is allocated to a beneficiary, the entire amount now reaches their account directly. Referring to a past remark by former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi—who had said that only ₹15 out of ₹100 reached beneficiaries—Vij asserted that under the BJP government, digitization ensures full delivery of funds, reflecting strong governance.
*Infrastructure Development Across the Country*
The minister stated that the central government has built an extensive network of quality roads, airports, and new railway lines across the country. He added that two new railway lines are being laid between Delhi and Ambala.He also mentioned discussions with the Railway Minister regarding a new rail line between Ambala and Chandigarh, with approval granted for surveys of third and fourth lines. Additionally, the government has approved a bullet train project between Delhi and Chandigarh, which will pass near Saha.Sh.Vij highlighted key welfare initiatives, including: Ayushman Bharat health insurance providing coverage up to ₹5 lakh and Ujjwala Yojana, which supports cooking gas access for poor households.
*Abrogation of Article 370*
He said that after independence, Jammu & Kashmir was granted special status due to earlier political decisions. Referring to Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s opposition to this, Vij noted that the BJP government eventually revoked Article 370, fully integrating Jammu & Kashmir with the rest of India.
*Ram Temple Construction Under PM Modi’s Leadership*
Sh.Vij said that the long-standing demand for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been fulfilled under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He recalled his own involvement in the movement and said that today, millions of devotees are visiting the temple.
*End of Corruption in Jobs and Transfers*
He emphasized that the BJP government has eliminated corruption in recruitment and transfers in the state. Earlier, money and influence were required, but now many people are getting government jobs without any such practices.He also noted the abolition of triple talaq, calling it a relief for Muslim women, and highlighted the effective implementation of schemes like Ayushman Bharat and other welfare initiatives benefiting all sections of society.
