Chandigarh Police Arrested Sunil Verma @ Babu R/o # 2086/1, EWS Colony, Maloya Chandigarh from near # 2025, EWS Colony, Maloya Chandigarh on 12-03-2026 and recovered 85 grams of narcotic drug from his possession. A Case FIR No. 44 U/S 21 NDPS Act. has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Four Persons arrested in Public Drinking
Chandigarh Police Arrested Somi R/o #697 Sector 25 Chandigarh, Subham R/o # 96 Sector-25 Chandigarh, Rajender Kumar R/o Village Mustafabad Distt. Yamuna Nagar Haryana from the parking area opposite GMSH-16 Chandigarh on 12-03-2026 while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A case FIR No. 20 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act. 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sectortor-03 Chandigarh. All accused later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Chandigarh Police arrested Gaurav R/O Village Umarauahan, Distt. Azamgarh, Up From Near math mandir, Sector-20 Chandigarh on 12-03-2026 while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A case FIR No. 25 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act. & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-19 Chandigarh. Accused later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
