Two arrested under arms act
A case FIR No. 47 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against Kapil @ Daku R/o #454, Village Surajpur, District Panchkula, Haryana, aged 22 years, who was arrested from Vikas Nagar petrol pump towards Panchkulaon 27-02-2026 at about 11:45 pm, and one button-operated foldable knife was recovered from his possession. The accused has been arrested and is in police lock-up.
A case FIR No. 38 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh against Nikhil @ Panda R/o #1502, Phase-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh, aged 20 years, who was apprehended from near bus stand Ramdarbar, Chandigarh, on 28-02-2026 at about 10:00 pm, and one kamandar knife was recovered from his possession. The accused has been arrested and is in police lock-up.
One arrested in Theft case
A case FIR No. 31 u/s 305 and 317(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Neeraj Kumar R/o Pipliwala Town, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, alleging that Yasin R/o SCO No. 37, Sector-26, Chandigarh, was apprehended while stealing copper pipes of three ACsfrom Tennis Club, SCO No. 25, Sector-26, Chandigarh, between 11:00 pm and 3:00 am on 28-02-2026. The accused has been arrested and is in police lock-up.
