MAHENDERGARH,11.02.26-The Entrepreneurship Cell of the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, organised an interactive entrepreneurship programme titled “Startup Unfiltered: Meet Young Founders” with the objective of motivating students towards innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset. 348 participants registered for the event.

The event was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar as Chief Guest, who congratulated the organising team for the successful conduct of the programme and stated that such initiatives are extremely beneficial for students. He also inspired students to adopt entrepreneurial thinking as an integral part of their academic journey rather than focusing solely on traditional job-seeking roles. He also highlighted the role of National Education Policy in building the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country.

The Convener of the Entrepreneurship Cell, Dr. Ajay Kumar welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in today’s competitive world. He informed that this was conducted to inspire the students at the university level, wherein successful entrepreneurs associated with Shark Tank India shared real-life startup experiences, enabling students to connect with them on a deeper level.

The programme featured two young entrepreneurs who shared their entrepreneurial journeys and experiences with the students. Mr. Sanjay Modi, Founder of Nearbook, Mr. Sandeep Jangra, Founder of Pizza Galleria-featured startup at Shark Tank India, interacted with students during a question-and-answer session and provided valuable insights into startup challenges, innovation, scaling businesses and their personal experiences. Many students discussed their startup ideas with founders and founders gave suggestions to navigate through the market for those ideas.

The programme successfully highlighted the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship, encouraged students to generate & present innovative ideas, and inspired them to transform their creative thinking into viable business ventures through practical exposure and interaction with industry leaders. Dr Sandeep, member entrepreneurship cell proposed the vote of thanks for the event in the end. The event was attended by senior faculty members of the University including Prof. Anand Sharma, Prof. Ajai Pal Sharma, Prof. Sushila, Prof. Suman, Dr. Sumit, Dr. Bhushan, Dr. Murli and Dr. Vishnu.
