Chandigarh Police arrested Devendra Kumar R/o # 188 ground floor nada sahib Panchkula Haryana from booth Market Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on 08-01-2026 while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No. 10 U/S 68-1(b) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh. Later on, the accused was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 03 U/S 303(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Sector- 21/D, Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away complainant handbag containing one diamond gold ring, apple airpods and cash Rs 3000/- from his car after broken the glass while parking in front of sri chaitanya techno school Sector-44/B, Chandigarh on 19-12-2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cyber Cheating

A case FIR No. 02 u/s 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station-Cyber Crime on the complaint of Sanjeev Sabharwal R/o # 1530/2, Sector 38/B, against unknown person who cheated with complainant Rs 15,38,198/- regarding fake company gmail account. Investigation of this case is in progress.
