Two persons arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Ravi R/o # 511 Mauli Pind Chandigarh from Makhan Majra forest area towards Sukhna choe Chandigarh on 05-01-2026 and recovered one button operated knife from his possession. A Case FIR No.07 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vishal @ Bhindi R/o # 2487 Vikash Nagar Maili Jagran, Chandigarh from slip road Vikash nagar petrol pump towards Raipur kala T- point on 05-01-2026 and recovered one button operated foldable knife from his possession. A Case FIR No.08 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Voluntarily Causing hurt

A Case FIR No 03 U/S 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Umesh Chand R/o # 92 Khuda Lahora Chandigarh against Raju, Vinod and others persons they bitten to complainant near 66 kv light point PGI Chandigarh on 03.01.2026. Complainant got injured and admitted to PGI Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
