“By taking a dip, Rahul Gandhi has himself indicated that the Grand Alliance is sinking in this election” — Energy Minister Anil Vij
“Parties that once snatched away people’s fundamental rights can only speak negatively” — Anil Vij
“When Kharge visits Bihar, even crows don’t bother to look up” — Anil Vij
Chandigarh, 04.11.25-, November 4- Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, took a sharp jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for wading into a pond to catch fish in Bihar and said that “Rahul Gandhi is a great fortune teller and astrologer. He already knows that his Grand Alliance is sinking in the Bihar elections. That’s why he himself took a dip to symbolically convey the message. His dive was not just a stunt — it was a signal to the people that the Grand Alliance is going under this time.”
Sh. Vij made these remarks while intracting with the media persons today.
Responding to Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s recent remark suggesting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should form a “Ministry of Insults,” the minister said that “These are the same parties that, whenever they got the opportunity, suppressed people’s voices, snatched away their right to speak, and curtailed their fundamental freedoms. Nothing positive can be expected from them — this kind of negativity is in their nature.”
Reacting to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement questioning how many times people would vote for Prime Minister Modi after seeing the same face, Sh. Vij retorted that “Kharge ji is jealous of Prime Minister Modi. Whenever Narendra Modi visits Bihar, the entire state comes alive with enthusiasm — crowds gather in huge numbers, and everyone wants to see him. But when Kharge ji goes to Bihar, even the crows don’t bother to look up. His comment is nothing but a reflection of that jealousy.” Sh.Vij further said that the people now clearly understand who is genuinely working for development and who is only engaged in empty rhetoric. He added that, “As always, the people of Bihar will once again choose the politics of development and leadership — not the politics of confusion and misleading statements.”

After the Sadar Area, Storm Water Drainage System to be Installed in Remaining Parts of Ambala Cantonment – Anil Vij
Chandigarh, November 4: Haryana’s Transport Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that efforts are being made to ensure a more comfortable and convenient travel experience for the people of Ambala. Since a large number of people commute daily between Ambala Cantonment and Ambala City, the local/city bus service is being strengthened and expanded for their benefit.
Sh. Vij was interacting with the media persons today.
Welcoming the induction of five new electric air-conditioned buses into the local fleet at Ambala Cantonment, the Minister said that the local bus service had remained discontinued for several years, but after he assumed charge as Transport Minister, the service was revived successfully. At present, around 25 buses operate daily between Ambala City, Ambala Cantonment, and nearby villages, providing better transportation facilities to the public. Storm Water Drainage System to Cover Remaining Parts of Ambala Cantonment After the Sadar Area – Vij
Referring to the administrative approval accorded for installing a storm water drainage system in the remaining parts of Ambala Cantonment, Sh. Vij said that a storm water pipeline network had already been laid earlier across the Sadar area, which proved highly effective. He said that “During the recent monsoon season, water drained out rapidly from Sadar, and no waterlogging was seen in any market. Since the drainage lines are underground, it has also reduced the breeding of mosquitoes and flies.”
He further informed that a similar storm water pipeline system will now be laid across the remaining parts of Ambala Cantonment, for which the State Government has sanctioned Rs. 57.42 crore. The drainage system will extend up to Defence Colony, and the tender process will commence soon, following which the construction work will begin. Sh. Vij reiterated that these initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to improving civic infrastructure and ensuring better quality of life for the residents of Ambala.
