Chandigarh, 10 September: The NSS Units of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, in collaboration with Robin Hood Army, Chandigarh, organised a voluntary help drive to provide relief to those affected by the recent floods in Punjab.
The NSS volunteers actively collected and contributed essential supplies including paracetamol tablets, cotton, antiseptic liquids, sanitary napkins, biscuits, snacks, summer and winter clothing, diaper packets, towels, buckets, and mugs. The drive witnessed overwhelming participation not only from NSS volunteers but also from faculty members and students, showcasing the collective spirit of empathy, generosity, and service that defines the MCM community.
Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma lauded the initiative, emphasising the importance of standing united in times of crisis. She said that this drive reflects the compassion and social commitment of the students and staff at MCM.
