Chandigarh, September 5: Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said today that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will emerge victorious in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections because the party stands for positive politics. Vij said that apart from just a handful of states, the BJP has already established its presence across the nation.
Responding to media questions, Vij criticized RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, remarking that governance in Bihar cannot be dictated by RJD. “What you (Lalu Prasad Yadav) know best is how to misuse resources, exploit land for jobs, and carry out scams like the IRCTC scandal. These are lessons neither we nor the people of Bihar wish to learn,” he said.
Vij emphasized that the people of Bihar are prepared to hold Congress and RJD accountable, particularly for allowing derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother from their platforms.
On Arvind Kejriwal, Vij commented, “It seems ever since Sh. Kejriwal lost his chief ministerial position, his routine has reversed—he sleeps during the day and stays awake at night. Had he been attentive during the day, he would have known that Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is actively visiting flood-affected areas in Punjab and ensuring all possible assistance reaches the state.”
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusive development, Vij said that “Wherever NDRF teams are needed, they have been deployed. Wherever SDRF is required, it has been sent. If the Army’s assistance is necessary, it has also been mobilized or kept on standby. Our government does not discriminate because our motto is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (Together with all, Development for all).”

*Prime Minister Narendra Modi Has Accelerated India’s Growth by Reducing GST Rates – Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij*
*40% GST Imposed on Products Linked to Harmful Habits-Vij*
*Government Introduces and Passes Bill on Online Gaming- Vij*
*Government Moving in the Right Direction, Also Focusing on Character Building -Vij*
Chandigarh, September 5: Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij today praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to reduce GST rates, calling it a major boost to India’s economic growth. “By lowering GST rates, Prime Minister Modi has put India’s development on fast track,”.
While interacting with the media persons today, he Explained the economic impact and said that, “When GST rates are reduced, goods become cheaper. Cheaper goods mean higher purchasing power, which increases demand. Increased demand leads to more factories being established, creating more jobs. More jobs generate further purchasing power, which restarts the cycle. This is how sustainable growth is created.”
Vij further remarked that the Prime Minister has “turned development into a rocket,” while also ensuring relief for common citizens by reducing GST on essential items such as flour, milk, curd, butter, medicines, and insurance. At the same time, products associated with harmful habits like beedis, tobacco, and alcohol have been placed under a 40% GST bracket. “This not only discourages unhealthy consumption but also sends a strong social message to move away from bad habits,” he said.
On regulatory reforms, Vij highlighted that the government has introduced and passed a bill to regulate online gaming. “Online gaming existed earlier as well, and it was harmful then and remains harmful now. Previous governments lacked the political will to act, but our government is committed to curbing wrong practices and does not bow to pressure,” he said.
Underscoring the broader vision, Vij stated that, “The government’s GST reforms are not just economic—they also focus on building character. Essential daily-use items have been made cheaper, while harmful products have been taxed higher. This shows our government’s resolve to guide society in the right direction. Unlike earlier governments, we are paying attention to values and personality development.”

*Expelling BJP MLAs from the Assembly Reflects Mamata Banerjee’s Authoritarian Approach and Is Against Democracy- Vij*
*Authoritarianism Has Already Pushed Hooda Into Political Margins, the Same Awaits Mamata Banerjee- Vij*
Chandigarh, September 5: Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij strongly criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for expelling BJP legislators from the Assembly through marshals, calling it an attack on democratic principles.
Vij drew parallels with former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, stating, “During his tenure, Hooda also had me thrown out of the Assembly multiple times. Now Mamata Banerjee is doing the same to BJP MLAs because of her authoritarian style of functioning. But such actions go against democracy.”
Responding to media queries regarding the Kolkata Assembly incident where BJP MLAs were dragged out, Vij said that “India has adopted a democratic system of governance, yet some political parties neither practice democracy internally nor tolerate it in governance. Elected legislators have the right to voice their opinions in the Assembly, but authoritarian leaders cannot accept dissent and resort to silencing them.”
He further added, “Just as Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s authoritarianism eventually pushed him to the political sidelines, the same outcome awaits Mamata Banerjee if she continues down this path. Expelling elected representatives from the Assembly is undemocratic and unacceptable.”
