MAHENDERGARH, 07.05.25-Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh has collaborated with Wadhwani Foundation for offering entrepreneurship development course to the students of 5 UG and 7 PG programmes of the University. The UG programs where this course will be offered are B Voc – Retail and Logistics Management, B.Tech-Electrical Engineering, B.Tech-Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech-Civil Engineering, B.Sc. Psychology Hons. The PG programmes where this course will be offered include Master of Computer Application, M.Sc.-Data Science, Master of Business Administration, M.Tech-Computer Science and Engineering, M.Sc. Geoinformatics, Master of Travel and Tourism Management, Master of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, MA-Journalism and Mass Communication.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of CUH said that Ministry of Education, Government of India has envisioned to promote new enterprises and inculcate entrepreneurial culture among the youth of country. Higher education institutions has an important role to play in realising the entrepreneurship potential of youth. To contribute to this cause, Central University of Haryana has partnered with Wadhwani foundation for imparting a focused entrepreneurial training to university students as part of its curriculum.
Wadhwani Foundation, a global not-for-profit organisation is the official knowledge partner for Ministry of Education (MOE), GOI for Smart India Hackathon events across the country. As part of this collaboration, university students will have access to artificial intelligence enabled program, hands on learning for developing a viable idea including creating a pitch deck, innovative learning tools with 24/7 assisted learning, extensive resources and industry mentor connects. As part of this collaboration, Wadhwani foundation will provide training to 14 faculty members of Central University of Haryana. This 5 week training is starting from 14th May 2025.
