Kejriwal Cares More About His Bus Mafia Than Punjab’s Elderly Citizens: Kewal Singh Dhillon

➖Misleading People with False Statements Is Kejriwal’s Habit: Kewal Singh Dhillon

Chandigarh, October 25:Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal is more concerned about his bus mafia brought in from other states than the safety of Punjab’s elderly citizens. That is why he is turning the National Human Rights Commission’s (NHRC) notice regarding safety issues involving buses operating under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme into a political issue. This was stated by Kewal Singh Dhillon, President of the Punjab unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In a statement issued from the party office in Chandigarh, Kewal Singh Dhillon said that the Human Rights Commission had taken action against 1,000 buses across the country over the past year due to incidents of fires involving sleeper buses. Such incidents have been occurring repeatedly, resulting in the loss of lives. Linking this action exclusively to Punjab is nothing but an outright falsehood, he said.

He stated that in January 2026, the Punjab government had informed the Human Rights Commission that no sleeper buses were registered in Punjab. This means that all the buses operating under the pilgrimage scheme in Punjab are private buses brought in from other states. Not only have the buses been brought in from outside Punjab, but the person running the scheme has also been brought in from Delhi. Kejriwal is running Punjab’s Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme like a bus mafia through his close associate, Dhillon alleged.

He said that making false statements was a habit of Kejriwal. Before accusing anyone of attempting to discontinue the pilgrimage scheme in Punjab, Kejriwal should clarify whether the scheme in Delhi was discontinued after the BJP formed the government there. Kejriwal must answer this question first, Dhillon said.

"Chitta Hi Chitta" Written on Walls of Bathinda's Doomwali Village: Dhillon Corners AAP Government

'Yudh Nashian Virudh' Limited to Advertisements: Dhillon

Walls of Bathinda's Doomwali Village Reveal the Reality of Drugs: State President, BJP

Chandigarh, October 25-The Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has completely failed to eradicate drugs, and the incident of "Chitta Hi Chitta" being written on walls in Doomwali village of Bathinda district exposes the reality behind the claims of the AAP government's "Yudh Nashian Virudh" (War Against Drugs) campaign. This was stated by Punjab BJP state president Kewal Singh Dhillon.

He said that amid allegations of open sale of 'Chitta' in Doomwali village, the fact that people have written "Chitta Hi Chitta" on the walls of their own homes to highlight the drug problem is deeply worrying. These conditions raise serious questions about the government's claims of a drug-free Punjab.

Kewal Singh Dhillon said that the anguish of mothers watching their young sons fall prey to drugs reflects the seriousness of Punjab's current situation.

He said that justice for Paraminder Singh Jhota, who raised his voice against drugs, is still incomplete, and that amid this, the sale of drugs in Bathinda district coming to light through writings on walls shows the failure and insensitivity of the AAP government. He said that before coming to power, the Aam Aadmi Party had guaranteed to end drugs within three months, but even after four and a half years, the drug problem has not been eliminated. A wide gap is visible between the government's performance and the ground reality.

The BJP state president said that Punjab cannot become drug-free merely by naming campaigns and making claims through advertisements. The people of Punjab are now disappointed with the Aam Aadmi Party government's claims and are demanding accountability and concrete action to pull the state out of the quagmire of drugs.

➖ SC/ST Act's Section Must Be Added to the FIR in Ajay Murder Case in Abohar: Vijay Sampla

➖ BJP Leaders Visit Abohar to Support Ajay’s Family, Staging a Protest with His Body for a Week

Chandigarh / Abohar, October 25:Former Punjab BJP President and former Union Minister Vijay Sampla has demanded that provisions of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act be added to the FIR in the Ajay Atwal murder case in Abohar and that Shiv Lal Doda’s name be included in the FIR. Like the family of Parvinder Singh Jhota in Mansa, which has been fighting for justice, the family of Ajay Atwal has also been refusing to allow a post-mortem examination of his body for the past week.

Vijay Sampla visited the ongoing protest in Abohar along with MLA Sandeep Jakhar, former and State President SC Morcha MLA Sheetal Anurag, District President BJP Fazilka Sukhwinder Singh Kaka Kamboj and Mukatsar District President Kuldeep Singh Bhangewala

Addressing the protesters, Vijay Sampla warned Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, saying, “The government must stop shielding the actual culprits in the Ajay Atwal case in Abohar and take appropriate action against Shiv Lal Doda as well. Just as people are mobilising for justice for Parvinder Singh Jhota in Mansa and Ajay Atwal in Abohar, the movement will spread across Punjab if the government fails to deliver justice.”

He said it was no secret that Ajay Atwal was a witness in the 2015 Bhim Tank murder case, for which Shiv Lal Doda is serving a life sentence. He added that the BJP had fought for justice for the family of Bhim Tank at that time and would not allow injustice to be done to Ajay Atwal’s family now.

Vijay Sampla reminded Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann that they had previously assured Bhim Tank’s family of justice and promised a government job to a family member under the Delhi government. “Instead of standing by the family, you did not even extend a helping hand to them; you allied with Shiv Lal Doda, the man convicted of Bhim Tank’s murder. Now, you are siding with the same oppressor,” he alleged.

Vijay Sampla said the patience of the Dalit community should not be tested. If justice was not delivered to Ajay’s family, he warned, the protest would turn into a statewide movement across Punjab.
