Chandigarh, 29 September 2026: The Chandigarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board organised two camps to inform construction workers about registration with the Board and the welfare schemes available to them.

The first camp was held on 25 September at the Community Centre, Small Flats, HBC-Dhanas, Sector 14-West. Of the 75 workers informed about registration and welfare schemes, 43 applied for new registration.

The second camp was held on 27 September at the Community Centre, Kajheri Village, Sector 52. Of the 25 workers informed, 17 applied for new registration.

Across the two camps, 100 workers received information about the Board’s schemes, and 60 applied for new registration. Eligible construction workers who could not attend may contact the Board’s office for details of the registration process and required documents.
