New Chandigarh.30th April, 2026-The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) successfully hosted four matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL), achieving several milestones this time. All matches featured packed stadiums, with no visible drop in fan attendance in any game.

The improvements PCA made to fan facilities and management were clearly reflected. PCA President Amarjeet Mehta played a very important role in this. Efforts to improve the spectator experience increased both their presence and enthusiasm in the stadium.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Governor Gulab Chand Kataria also visited the stadium to watch the matches. They appreciated the facilities there as well.

PCA also earned record revenue from these matches. Earlier, earnings were around ₹2–3 crore, but this time the figure reached approximately ₹8 crore.

PCA President Amarjeet Mehta credited the fans for this success, stating that by coming to the stadium, they not only enhanced PCA’s prestige but also boosted the team’s morale. He termed it a “victory of Punjab and Punjabiyat.” He added that PCA will continue to focus on improving facilities and taking Punjab cricket to a new level in the future.
