Chandigarh, 08 April 2026: The Department of Fashion Designing, in collaboration with the TrendsModa Club of GGDSD College, Chandigarh, successfully organized PRiSMA 2026, a grand fashion show celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation. The event provided a dynamic platform for final-year students of B.Voc Fashion Technology and Apparel Design and B.A. to showcase their design excellence and artistic vision.

The event commenced with a green welcome ceremony symbolizing growth and positivity, followed by an inspiring address by Registrar Mr. Ashutosh Sharma, and a graceful Vandana performance. Students presented a diverse range of innovative collections inspired by themes such as heritage crafts, modern femininity, architecture, nature, and cultural fusion.

The evening was further enriched with vibrant cultural performances and a motivational address by the Guest of Honour, Dr. Neha Miglani, Senior Journalist and Editor of The Lifestyle Journalist Magazine, and Director of the Institute of Fashion and Communication Technology, encouraging students to continue exploring and excelling in the field of fashion.

Best Precision Silhouette: Rang Reef by Bhumi, Poonam, and Kashish

Best Designed Collection: She Wears Many Worlds by Janhavi, Nandini, and Kamlesh

Best Styled Collection: The Brutalist Frame by Krrish

Best Styled Collection: Eastside Westside by Piya and Kiran

Best Female Models: Mani Kaur, B.Com 1st year and Ridhi Bansal BCA 2nd year

Best Male Model: Anmol B.Voc (Media and Entertainment) 3rd year

Consolation Prize: Flame to Flow by Shreya Pahuja

The show was held under the patronage of Principal Dr. Ajay Sharma, whose vision, guidance, and constant encouragement provided the foundation for the event’s success.

The event was coordinated by Convenor Dr. Sumita Sikka. The Core Committee members — Mr. Ashutosh Sharma, Dr. Indu Mehta, Dr. Rajinder Singh Maan, Mr. Varinder Kumar, and Lt. Ritika Sinha — contributed significantly to the smooth execution of the event.
