CHANDIGARH, 10.02.26-Continuing with a noble tradition, the 7th annual blood donation camp was successfully organized by the Faculty Association of PGIMER on 9th February with the aim of promoting voluntary blood donation and raising awareness about the importance of saving lives through this noble act. The camp was organized with the help of the Department of Transfusion Medicine of PGI. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from people across different professionals including faculty, students and staff of PGI as well as local residents. A total of 90 units of blood were collected during the camp. Donors were provided with refreshments and certificates of appreciation as a token of gratitude.

The organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all donors, volunteers, and medical teams for their support and cooperation in making the camp a success. Such initiatives play a vital role in maintaining adequate blood supplies and fostering a spirit of social responsibility within the community.
