A Case FIR No. 25 U/S 304(2), 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Lady R/o # Sector-47/D Chandigarh against unknown person who snatched complainant, mobile phone near 46/47/48/49 Chowk on 08.02.2026. During the investigation, accused Unesh R/o Bus stand Sector 43 was arrested in Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Exposure and abandonment of child under twelve year

A Case FIR No. 17 U/S 93 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Bunty R/o # 6641 Sector-56, Chandigarh against unknown person who abandons the 1 or 2 days child with intention of completely leaving him without care, supervision or support near tree no. 70 gate no. 1 GMSH Sector-16, Chandigarh on 08 02-2026, who was admitted in GMSH Sector-16 Chandigarh later referred to PGI where during the treatment expired. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Investigation of this case is in progress.
