Chandigarh Police arrested Bablu R/o # 1717 Hallo Majra Chandigarh and Dharmender R/o # 865 hallo majra Chandigarh from Power Grid Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 28-01-2026 while gambling and recovered cash Rs 640/- and playing cards from their possession. A case FIR No. 16 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. later on accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Chandigarh Police arrested Vikramjeet Singh R/o # 1778 Vill- Burail Chandigarh from tubewell Sector- 45/B, Chandigarh on 28-01-2026 while playing satta and recovered cash Rs 2120/- from their possession. A case FIR No. 16 U/S U/S 13(A)-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh. later on accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No.26 U/S 125(A), 281 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Harmeet Singh R/o # 3/660 Shivalik Vihar Naya Gaon (Punjab) against Driver of unknown vehicle who sped away after hit to pedestrian complainant from Khudda Lahora Bridge towards Nayagaon Road on 30-12-2025. A case FIR No. 15 U/S 281, 106(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Kuldeep R/o # 1794 Adarsh Nagar Naya Gaon (Punjab) against unknown vehicle sped away after hit to a pedestrian person from slip road near Open Ground Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 27-01-2026. Pedestrian was injured and admitted in GMCH-32 Chandigarh.During the treatment injured person death. Investigation of this case is in progress.
