One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police has been arrested Jatin @ Gorkha s/o Babbu Singh, aged 22 years, resident of Huggi No. 157, NIC Mani Majra, Chandigarh, near the back side of Tech Mahindra IT Park, Chandigarh, on 28-12-2025. During search, 13.02 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 176 u/s 305, 331(4) BNS PS-17, Chandigarh has been registered on the complaint of Pardeep R/o # 668, Sec-16D Chd against unknown person broke into his house between 18-12-2025 and 28-12-2025 and stole multiple gold and silver items including one gold chain, one gold ring, one ladies gold chain, one pair of gold earrings, one pair of silver payal, silver foot rings, silver rings, a silver jura pin, and a silver tagari. Investigation of the case is in progress.
