Chandigarh-07.05.2025-As part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration on 01^st July 2025, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle in association with Times of India conducted SBI Scholar Quiz on 07.05.2025 at Punjab Kala Bhawan, Sector 16, Chandigarh. 95 teams from 52 schools participated in the quiz. Sh. Manoranjan Panda, General Manager Network-1, Sh. Kajal Kumar Bhowmik, Deputy General Manager & Circle Development Officer with other dignitaries from Times of India attended the event.

After a competitive preliminary round, 6 top performing teams advanced to the final round. The team of DPS Sector 40C, Chandigarh (Ms. Mehar and Mr. Karan) was declared the winner. The 1^st runner up was team of St. John’s High School (Mr. Ansh and Mr. Digvijay), the second runner up was team from Athenia High School (Mr. Arogya and Mr. Mugdh). The winning teams were felicitated by Sh. Manoranjan Panda and Sh. Kajal Kumar Bhowmik from SBI with cheques of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively along with trophies and certificates.

Through this endeavor the Bank has emphasized its commitment to education by motivating the students who are the future leaders of our nation.
