Jammu,14.09.23-Kathak dancer Sanchita Abrol paid tributes to Sahitya Akademi Awardee Kunwar Viyogi with her performance on the poet's Dogri songs at the Melbourn Dance Utsav held on Aug 26. Theatre director Aarushi Thakur Rana recited Viyogi's sonnets during an event Rules of Love in London on Sep 15. Theatre director Gauri Thakur adapted Viyogi's life in a play titled ' The Uncrowned Poet' at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu on Sep 9. All events were held as part of International 8th Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2023, organised by Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust that works for the promotion of Dogri language in Jammu, said Trust Founder Poonam Singh Jamwal.
