Chandigarh, January 30- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini called upon the youth to make knowledge, humility, success, sensitivity, inner strength and a spirit of selfless service an integral part of their lives, stating that these values form the true message and guiding path of India’s great Gurus.

Addressing the 61st Foundation Day of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Chandigarh on Friday, the Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs. 11 lakh for the Sikh Education Society. He expressed pride and honour in participating in the event, which was dedicated to the life, teachings and supreme sacrifices of the Tenth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The Chief Minister said that remembering Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji brings forth the image of a fearless warrior-saint who devoted his entire life to humanity, righteousness and justice. Guru Ji taught the world that principles can never be compromised, even at the cost of one’s life, and that self-respect and moral courage are eternal.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini remarked that the Foundation Day of the college celebrates a legacy of thought, tradition and consciousness that has kept the soul of India awakened for centuries. Established in 1966 in the name of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the institution aims to inculcate the values of sacrifice, courage, service and humanity among students, which form the very soul of the college.

Highlighting the role of teachers, the Chief Minister said that educators not only impart academic knowledge but also guide students in life, instilling values and cultural ethics while upholding the revered ‘Guru–Shishya’ tradition. He added that Sri Guru Gobind Singh College has contributed significantly to character building, nation building and human development, producing distinguished alumni who have excelled in diverse fields.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the Haryana Government is committed to providing quality education, moral values and equal employment opportunities to every youth in the state. Several initiatives have been undertaken in education, skill development, startups, sports and employment to create new avenues for young people. He informed that the Haryana State Research Fund has been established to promote higher education and research, receiving over 360 project proposals so far.

Referring to the National Education Policy 2020, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said a comprehensive roadmap has been prepared to align the education system with the needs of the 21st century. One Government Model Sanskriti College have been established in every district, and efforts have been made to ensure that a college is available within a 20-kilometre radius. To ensure effective and time-bound implementation of education reforms, the ‘NEEV Portal’, an intelligent data-driven decision support system, has been launched in Panchkula.

The Chief Minister said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, India is progressing steadily towards becoming a developed nation by 2047, making the teachings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji even more relevant today. He highlighted several initiatives undertaken by the Haryana Government to propagate the teachings of the Gurus, including state-level commemorations and the naming of institutions and highways in their honour.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini affirmed that the government remains dedicated to providing employment-oriented, value-based and ethical education to the coming generations. Emphasising merit-based governance, he noted that over 1.80 lakh youth in Haryana have been provided government jobs purely on merit, without any parchi - kharchi.

State Government’s Key Focus will be to Eliminate Anemia and Cancer from Haryana- Aarti Singh Rao

Haryana Government Committed to Strengthening Health Services

Chandigarh, January 30 — Haryana Health Minister, Ms. Arti Singh Rao said that the state government’s primary focus is on completely eliminating anemia and cancer from Haryana. The number of tests related to cancer screening will be increased to ensure early detection.

The Health Minister was interacting with media persons in Chandigarh on Friday.

Expressing concern over the rising number of cancer patients, Ms. Arti Rao stated that cancer patients and one attendant are being provided free travel facilities in government buses for treatment. In addition, patients suffering from Stage-3 and Stage-4 cancer are being given financial assistance of Rs. 3,000 per month. To further strengthen cancer treatment facilities, a 50-bed Atal Cancer Care Centre has been established at the Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt, equipped with advanced facilities such as mammography, a CT simulator, and a linear accelerator. This centre is providing comprehensive cancer care not only to patients from Haryana but also from neighbouring states.

She further informed that there has been a historic increase in the health budget. While the health budget stood at Rs. 2,646 crore in 2014-15, it has been enhanced to Rs. 9,942 crore in 2025-26, reflecting an increase of about 275 percent.

Ms. Arti Rao said that to address the shortage of doctors, appointment letters have been issued to 746 Medical Officers and 845 Ayurvedic Medical Officers. Additionally, under the National Health Mission (NHM), 346 Medical Officers and 154 specialists are currently rendering their services. She added that MRI scan facilities are available in five districts. Memorandums of Understanding have already been signed for Panipat and Kurukshetra, while tenders have been floated for the remaining nine districts.

Responding to a question, the Health Minister said that Senior Citizen Corners and physiotherapy units are functional in all district hospitals of the state. To reduce out-of-pocket expenditure for the general public, free dialysis services have been provided to Haryana residents since October 17, 2024. Essential medicines are being made available free of cost at all government health institutions.

In reply to another question, she stated that to strengthen maternal and child health services, separate and modern Mother and Child Health (MCH) wings are being established in all district hospitals. The state aims to set up fully equipped, independent MCH wings in every district hospital so that comprehensive reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health services can be delivered under one roof. Construction of the MCH wing has been completed in Panchkula, work in Panipat is at the final stage, while construction in Faridabad and Sonipat commenced in September 2025. Administrative approval of Rs. 20 crore each has been granted for similar wings in Palwal, Sirsa and Kaithal.

Ms. Arti Rao informed that under the Anemia-Free India campaign, work is being carried out at a rapid pace in the state, as a result of which the anemia rate in Haryana has declined from 59 percent to 53 percent. This improvement has helped the state move from fifth to third position in the national rankings. She further informed that under the Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), Janaushadhi Kendras are operational in the civil hospitals of all 22 districts, enabling patients to access medicines at affordable prices.

The state government has also taken significant steps in the field of food safety. Food testing laboratories are operational in Chandigarh and Karnal, while five mobile food testing laboratories have been deployed across various districts. In addition, clean and safe street food hubs are being developed in Ambala, Karnal, Hisar and Gurugram.

The Health Minister said that the Haryana Government’s objective is to build a strong, people-centric and modern healthcare system so that every citizen can access quality health services in a timely manner without financial hardship.

She reiterated that the state government remains fully committed to providing affordable, accessible and quality healthcare to its citizens. Continuous efforts are being made by the Health Department to strengthen infrastructure, human resources, modern equipment and the supply of essential medicines to ensure effective control over both communicable and non-communicable diseases

20 HCS officers granted Super Time Scale; government issues orders

Chandigarh, January 30- The Haryana Government has issued orders granting the Super Time Scale (ACPL-18) to 20 officers of the Haryana Civil Service (Executive Branch). This pay scale benefit will be effective from January 1, 2026. Instructions in this regard have been issued by the Chief Secretary, Sh. Anurag Rastogi.

According to the orders issued by the government, the names of the officers who have been granted this benefit include Ms. Manisha Sharma, Ms. Kamal Preet Kaur, Sh. Amit Kumar-I, Sh. Pradeep Kumar-II, Dr. Sushil Kumar, Ms. Anu, Ms. Nishu Nee Namrata Singal, Sh. Virat, Sh. Vivek Chaudhary, Sh. Dalbir Singh, Sh. Ashwani Malik, Sh. Chandigarh, January 30 — The Haryana Government has transferred four IAS officers with immediate effect. Orders in this regard were issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi.

Dr. Raja Sekhar Vundru, who is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary of the Fisheries Department and the Transport Department, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. He will continue to hold the charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department.

Sh. D. Suresh, who is presently serving as Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, and Principal Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, will continue as Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, and appointed as Principal Secretary of the Fisheries Department.

Sh. Shashvat Sangwan, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Thanesar, has been appointed as Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), in place of Shri Jaydeep Kumar.

Posting orders of Sh. Jaideep Kumar will be issued separately. After being relieved of the charge of Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), he will submit his joining report to the office of the Chief Secretary.

Completion of Development Works Mandatory Before E-Auction: Right to Service Commission

Commission Issues Directions in HSVP E-Auction Case

Chandigarh, January 30 — The Haryana Right to Service Commission, while reviewing an e-auction case conducted by HSVP in Sector 77, Faridabad, has clearly stated that completion of all essential development works is mandatory before including any plot in an e-auction. The Commission said this requirement is inherently necessary to ensure convenience for allottees and transparency in the process.

A spokesperson of the Commission stated that citizens participate in the e-auction process with trust in the government. In such circumstances, it is expected that the concerned department completes all basic infrastructure facilities and development works in a timely manner so that allottees can commence construction without any inconvenience.

During the hearing, the Commission also took note of the fact that, as per the terms and conditions of the allotment letter, interest payable due to delayed possession was not paid on time. Following the Commission’s intervention, necessary action was initiated in this regard. The Commission has directed the Estate Officer to pay the delayed interest amount due to the allottee, make the required correction in the date of possession, and refund the extension fee recovered, as per rules. Instructions have been issued to submit a compliance report in this regard by February 05, 2026.

Upon examination of records related to the e-auction, it was also found that the concerned plot was shown as “clear,” whereas the land in front of the plot was under the process of acquisition. The Commission emphasized the need for greater caution and coordination at the administrative level in such matters. Information regarding the entire case has also been brought to the notice of the Chief Secretary, Haryana, so that necessary administrative corrective measures can be taken.

The Commission has ordered compensation of up to Rs. 5,000 to the affected allottee Sh. Manoj Vashisht under the provisions of the Haryana Right to Service Act, 2014. The amount shall be paid by HSVP within 15 days. The department has also been granted the liberty to recover the said amount from the concerned officials, as per rules.

The Right to Service Commission has expressed hope that in future, HSVP will conduct e-auctions only after completion of all development works and will ensure strict compliance with the Commission’s directions, so that citizens do not face any inconvenience or mental distress.

Haryana to Remove Red Tape in Farm Loans, RBI-Backed Digital Credit System on Way

Chandigarh, January 30 – In a major reform aimed at removing long-standing administrative bottlenecks in agricultural lending, the Haryana Government is set to usher in a transparent, technology-driven rural credit system that will free farmers from the routine of running between banks and revenue offices for loan-related documentation, said Dr. Sumita Misra, Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management Department.

The State Government will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Reserve Bank of India to develop one of India’s most advanced integrated farm credit systems. Under this framework, sanction of agricultural loans will be directly linked with digitised land records, ensuring seamless coordination between financial institutions and the revenue administration.

Sharing details of the initiative, Dr. Misra, said that the new system represents a fundamental shift in the way agricultural credit is delivered. She stated that farmers will now need only their Aadhaar number to access loans, as all land-related particulars will be automatically fetched from the State’s digital Record.

“This is not just a technological upgrade, but a complete reimagining of public service delivery for farmers. The long-standing patwari–tehsil–bank cycle that caused delays will be eliminated,” she said.

The project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase will focus on Kisan Credit Card loans, the most widely used agricultural credit instrument in Haryana. Upon Aadhaar authentication, land details will be auto-fetched, loan-related entries will be automatically recorded in land records, and encumbrance entries will be removed instantly upon repayment. The entire process will function with zero human intervention, ensuring maximum transparency. In the second phase, the system will be expanded to cover all forms of agricultural and rural lending, creating a unified digital credit ecosystem across the State.

She said the initiative offers significant benefits to all stakeholders. Farmers will save time, gain faster access to credit, and enjoy complete transparency through real-time tracking of loan status and land records. Banks and financial institutions will receive authenticated land data in real time, reducing risks associated with fraudulent applications and improving operational efficiency. The revenue administration will benefit from self-updating records, reduced errors, and enhanced credibility of land records.

The real-time integration between revenue records and lending institutions will also act as a strong safeguard against fraud and malpractice. Any attempt to use forged documents or outdated records will be automatically detected by the system, thereby protecting both lenders and genuine farmers, she added

Chandigarh, January 30 – Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the state government is continuously taking concrete steps to make the public transport system safer, more modern and more passenger-friendly. He said clearly that in future, drivers of all private buses operated under various schemes will be required to undergo mandatory driving tests to ensure that there is no compromise with passenger safety.

Sh. Anil Vij further informed that more than 400 electric vehicles will soon be inducted into Haryana’s public transport system for the convenience of the people. The necessary procedures in this regard are currently underway. He said that promoting electric vehicles is not only an important step towards environmental protection but will also reduce dependence on fossil fuels and significantly curb pollution.

The Energy Minister was speaking to media persons after chairing the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Sirsa on Friday.

Elaborating on the reforms being undertaken in the transport sector, Sh. Anil Vij said that the Haryana Roadways bus fleet will be strengthened in a phased manner to ensure better connectivity across both rural and urban areas. Along with this, advanced tracking systems are being installed in all Roadways buses so that passengers can receive accurate information about bus schedules and real-time locations.

He said that digital display screens will be installed at all bus stands across the state, on the lines of airports, to show real-time information about bus arrivals and departures. This will help passengers avoid unnecessary waiting and make their journeys more organized and convenient. In addition, a dedicated mobile application is also being developed through which passengers will be able to track the live location of buses and plan their travel more efficiently. He clarified that while the full implementation of these digital facilities may take some time, the government is committed to completing the process in a time-bound manner.

Sh. Anil Vij also said that the entire system of bus movement and entry-exit at bus stands is being digitally strengthened. This will ensure that buses are operating on their designated routes as prescribed. If any bus deviates from its route or fails to reach the bus stand on time, the information will be immediately available on the online system. He added that he would personally monitor this entire mechanism to ensure transparency and accountability in transport services.

The Energy Minister emphasized that the government’s objective is to make Haryana’s transport system safe, reliable and modern, so that common citizens can avail convenient, timely and affordable travel facilities. He expressed confidence that these reforms will take the state’s transport system in a new and progressive direction.

Chandigarh, January 30 – The Haryana Government has notified the schedule for the house-listing operations of Census of India 2027 in the State. The exercise will be conducted over a period of 30 days from May 1 to May 30, 2026, with an additional provision for self-enumeration from April 16 to April 30, 2026.

The information was shared by Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Disaster Management Department and State Nodal Officer for Census 2027, Dr. Sumita Misra.

According to the notification, the schedule has been declared in exercise of the powers conferred under the Census Act, 1948, read with the relevant Census Rules. The notification supersedes the earlier Haryana Government notification dated November 22, 2019, except for actions already completed or omitted before such supersession.

Chandigarh, January 30 — Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Friday interacted with youth from Punjab who visited his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir. The interaction focused on governance, public policy and employment opportunities. Highlighting good governance and a merit-based system as the foundation of development, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of a transparent recruitment policy to ensure fair opportunities for deserving youth. He described skill development as a key future requirement and said that promoting training, innovation and entrepreneurship would help make the youth self-reliant.

The Chief Minister said that earning public trust in a democracy is not easy, and maintaining it is an even greater challenge. The third consecutive term of the double-engine government at the Centre and in Haryana reflects the confidence reposed by the people, especially the youth, in the government’s policies. From the very beginning of its tenure, the government ensured that young talent is respected and provided equal opportunities. He said that Haryana and Punjab are not just neighbouring states, but two strong streams of the same culture, traditions and heritage.

Referring to the strict implementation of ‘Bina Parchi Bina Kharchi’ policy, the Chief Minister said that government jobs in Haryana have been provided purely on the basis of merit. Large-scale recruitments carried out over the past years have boosted the confidence of youth and strengthened politics based on trust.

The Chief Minister assured the youth from Punjab that they are welcome to meet him at any time, and reiterated that the Haryana government is fully committed to taking every possible step in the interest of youth.

*Youth are the biggest strength of Viksit Bharat 2047*

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has resolved to make India a developed nation by 2047, and the country’s youth will be the biggest force in achieving this goal. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, India has emerged among the world’s leading economic powers and is rapidly progressing towards becoming the third-largest economy. He said that for the first time since Independence, the country has leadership that is carrying forward the ideals of India’s great freedom fighters.

*Firm action against drugs*

The Chief Minister said that the Haryana government is working with complete seriousness to combat drug abuse. From setting up de-addiction centres to providing treatment for addicted youth, sustained efforts are being made at every level. To spread awareness, programmes such as cyclothons and marathons are being organised, with participation ranging from 20,000 to 25,000 young people.

He informed that those involved in the illegal drug trade are facing stringent action, including attachment of their properties.

The Chief Minister said that with the establishment of the Foreign Cooperation Department, youth are being provided safe, transparent and dignified overseas employment opportunities. The government is also facilitating legal channels for sending youth abroad. Expressing concern over fraud committed in the name of overseas employment and practices like the ‘dunki route,’ he said that strict action has been taken against those involved in such activities.

Referring to social security schemes, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Haryana provides a monthly pension of Rs. 3,200 to senior citizens, compared to Rs. 1,500 in Punjab. He added that while Punjab offers pension benefits up to an annual income limit of Rs. 60,000, Haryana has set this threshold at Rs. 3 lakh.

*Health schemes provide relief to lakhs*

Talking about health initiatives, the Chief Minister said that lakhs have benefited under the Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu schemes. So far, around 1.5 crore cards have been issued, and claims worth approximately Rs. 4,500 crore have been settled by the government.

*Strong identity of Haryana in sports*

Highlighting Haryana’s achievements in sports, the Chief Minister said that sports nurseries, academies and gymnasiums have been established across the state. Athletes are being provided training, sports kits and financial assistance, enabling more players from Haryana to make their mark at national and international levels.

The Chief Minister recalled that great revolutionaries such as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Lala Lajpat Rai dedicated their entire lives to the nation so that future generations could live in peace and prosperity. He urged the youth to imbibe these ideals in their own lives.

*Haryana Government Reopens HKRNL Portal to Update Data of Eligible Contractual Employees*

Chandigarh, January 30 - The Haryana Government has issued fresh instructions to reopen the portal of Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam Limited (HKRNL) for updating and porting accurate data of eligible contractual employees to ensure security of service benefits.

According to instructions issued by the Chief Secretary’s Office, the HKRNL portal will be reopened exclusively for those contractual employees who were engaged on or before March 31, 2022, and are still in service. The window for data updation and porting will remain open till February 20, 2026. The decision follows multiple representations from contractual employees who, despite fulfilling eligibility criteria under the Act and Rules and completing more than five years of service as on August 15, 2024, were unable to receive one-time passwords due to incomplete or incorrect data entries.

The State Government has observed that discrepancies mainly arose due to non-updation or incorrect updation of employee details—particularly mobile numbers—either in the HKRNL database for Part-I contractual employees or in the Treasury and Accounts database for Part-II employees. It was also noted that some employees receive remuneration directly from government organizations and are not linked with the Treasury or HKRNL systems.

Taking serious note of these issues, the Government has directed all departments, boards, corporations and authorities to ensure that Drawing and Disbursing Officers promptly update complete and accurate data of all eligible contractual employees. Departments have been instructed to complete the updation process within five days to facilitate smooth submission of applications on the portal.

The Treasury and Accounts Department and HKRNL have also been directed to share real-time updated data to ensure efficient functioning of the portal. Additionally, departments must send details of eligible employees who are paid directly by government organizations to HKRNL for registration and issuance of temporary identity cards, while ensuring that only eligible candidates are registered to avail benefits under the Security of Service provisions.

Chandigarh, January 30 — Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the ‘non-stop’ Haryana Government is working with full dedication to realise the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat–Viksit Haryana’ by 2047 under the able leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister was speaking at a programme organized in Chandigarh today. Referring to the recent Vidhan Sabha elections, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the BJP had made 217 promises to the people of Haryana in its Sankalp Patra. Of these, 54 promises have already been fulfilled, while work is progressing rapidly on the remaining promises. In contrast, in neighbouring Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, the promises made in election manifestos by the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress, respectively, have largely remained on paper with little implementation on the ground.

Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, the Chief Minister said that AAP promised big before the elections but failed to deliver. He pointed out that while the Punjab government claims to be giving Rs 20,000 per acre as compensation to farmers affected by recent floods, the party’s National Convener claimed in Gujarat that Rs 50,000 per acre was being provided. He said such contradictory statements expose the reality of the AAP government. The Chief Minister further said that Punjab’s youth is today in the grip of drug abuse, there are no employment opportunities, and people are fed up with the present government. He asserted that the people of Punjab are now determined to bring a BJP government to power.

The Chief Minister said his public life is rooted in values of respect, tradition, and service. For him, wearing a turban is not a political statement, but a symbol of shared cultural heritage and reverence for the Gurus.

He said that while the governments in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh made announcements on financial assistance to women before elections, those promises have remained unfulfilled even after several years. In contrast, the Haryana Government backed its commitment with action by earmarking Rs 5,000 crore for the Lado Laxmi Yojana in its Budget, ensuring direct financial support to women beneficiaries.

Highlighting the achievements of the Haryana Government, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said Haryana is the only state in the country where all 24 crops are procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP), with payments credited directly into farmers’ bank accounts within 48 hours. He said this has ensured transparency and strengthened farmers’ trust in the government.

The Chief Minister said the government has also fulfilled its promise of providing LPG cylinders at Rs 500 to families with an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh, benefiting nearly 15 lakh women across the state.

Speaking on healthcare reforms, he said the Haryana Government is continuously working to strengthen health services. Earlier, patients had to spend Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 on each dialysis session, but now dialysis treatment is completely free in all government hospitals. He added that when the government was formed for the third time, the first file he signed was related to providing free dialysis treatment in all government hospitals of the state.

The Chief Minister said the Opposition has lost public trust and are left with no real issues. He said Leader of the Opposition Sh. Rahul Gandhi is being misled by his advisors. Earlier, he claimed the Constitution would be changed if the BJP came to power; then he alleged that EVMs were hacked; and now he is talking about “vote theft”. All these are baseless allegations and deliberate attempts to mislead the public.

The Chief Minister said the Haryana Government is actively promoting industrial development to generate employment. Ten new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) are being set up in various districts of the state, and two AI hubs are being developed in Panchkula and Gurugram. He said the government is ensuring balanced regional development so that no area of Haryana is left behind.

He said that earlier, providing 24-hour electricity in villages seemed impossible, but today, more than 6,000 villages in Haryana are receiving round-the-clock power supply and this has happened in the last 11 years under the BJP government.

On law and order, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said gangsters have no place in Haryana. If any crime occurs, strict action is ensured within a maximum of one day. He informed that recently, some big gangsters were brought back from abroad and lodged in Haryana jails, sending a strong message that crime will not be tolerated in the state.

He said there is no discrimination in the allocation of funds by the Central Government, and all states receive their rightful share in a transparent and rule-based manner. The Centre has consistently provided adequate financial support for development to every state without bias. However, some opposition-ruled states have misused these funds or failed to utilise them effectively and are now misleading the public by blaming the Central Government for their own shortcomings.

Chandigarh January 30 : Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini praised the Government of India’s flagship digital platform PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation), calling it a powerful tool for accelerating development projects and resolving public grievances. The platform has strengthened coordination between the Centre, states and Union ministries by enabling direct, real-time monitoring of key schemes under the Prime Minister’s leadership. Chief Minster Sh. Nayab Singh Saini Said that PRAGATI reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to transparent, accountable governance and plays a crucial role in achieving the long-term national goal of Viksit Bharat @2047, ensuring faster execution and effective delivery of public welfare initiatives.

Out of the 112 major projects currently under monitoring in Haryana, 57 have already been commissioned, accounting for an investment of Rs 94,153 crore, while the remaining 55 projects—worth a substantially higher Rs 5.44 lakh crore—are still under implementation. Although commissioned projects form a marginal majority in terms of numbers, nearly 85 per cent of the total investment value remains under execution, underscoring the scale of mega, capital-intensive infrastructure projects presently underway in the State.

Among the commissioned projects, 13 projects valued at Rs 30,463 crore were reviewed under the Prime Minister’s PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) platform. Sector-wise, Roads and Highways dominate with 30 completed projects, followed by Oil and Gas (10), Power Transmission and Distribution (9), Railways (4), Power Generation (3), and one Real Estate project. These completed assets have significantly enhanced Haryana’s connectivity, energy infrastructure, and industrial ecosystem.

Meanwhile, of the 55 projects currently under implementation, 13 high-value projects involving an investment of Rs 2.24 lakh crore are being closely monitored under PRAGATI. The sectoral spread highlights continued focus on connectivity and public services, with Roads and Highways leading at 22 projects, followed by Healthcare (9), Railways (5), Oil and Gas (5), Power Transmission and Distribution (4), IT/ITES (3), and Power Generation (3). Additionally, one project each is underway in Metro Rail, Industries and Commerce, Logistics Park development, and Cement manufacturing.

Several of these ongoing initiatives rank among the largest infrastructure projects in the NCR region, including expressways, dedicated freight corridors, telecom saturation drives, and major healthcare institutions—reflecting Haryana’s push toward long-term, growth-oriented infrastructure development.
