MAHENDERGARH,22.11.25-The brochure for the upcoming National Seminar was officially launched at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh. The launch ceremony marked a significant step toward the much‑awaited academic event, scheduled to be held from January 29‑30, 2026, on the CUH campus. The brochure was unveiled by Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice‑Chancellor, CUH, at the request of Prof. Rajeev Kumar Singh (HoD) and Prof. Payal K Chandel, Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice‑Chancellor; Dr. Suneel Kumar, Registrar and Dr. Mukesh Mishra were also present at the launch.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar praised the efforts of the Head of the Department of Political Science and the Deans of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences for this forward‑looking initiative. He added that the interdisciplinary seminar, blending insights from political science, economics, and international relations, will help reshape national perspectives on conflict, trade, and the future of globalisation.

The Department of Political Science has always been ahead in organising seminars on relevant issues; it previously hosted discussions on the Bangladesh crisis, Afghanistan, and Kashmir, among other topics.

The seminar will bring together researchers, academicians, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts from across India to discuss emerging trends, challenges, and innovations related to the theme “War and Tariff: Revisiting Globalisation in a Fragmented World Order.” Through keynote addresses, panel discussions, paper presentations, and workshops, the event seeks to foster knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue.
