Chandigarh, September 1: Haryana Energy Minister Sh. Anil Vij today took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying, “Rahul Gandhi seems to have been given such a character that he keeps doing something or the other all the time. If he violates the law, action will be taken, and such action cannot be stopped through protests.”

Sh. Vij was responding to questions from media persons after the Monsoon Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha regarding the FIR registered against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Responding to a question about the protests staged by the Congress during all three days of the Assembly’s Monsoon Session, Sh. Vij attacked the Opposition and said, “The Opposition has formulated a policy at the national level that if the country is running smoothly, disruptions should be created, chaos should be generated, and situations should be created everywhere that provoke people.”

Sh. Vij further said, “Sometimes they provoke one section, and sometimes another. At times they provoke children, and at other times they provoke the elderly. They have adopted such a policy and are staging protests with the aim of spreading chaos across the country.”

Responding to a question about the government resolution brought in the Assembly regarding Sant Ravidas, Sh. Vij said, “Our leader, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, and all of us respect all great personalities.”
