CHANDIGARH, 17.03.24-The 4th Senior Men & Women State Yogasana Championship organized by YOGASANA ASSOCIATION CHANDIGARH Affiliated to YOGASANA BHARAT from 16th & 17th March 2024 at Government College of Yoga Education & Health Sector 23 Chandigarh.

The championship was inaugural by Dr Mahender Singh, Principal Government College of Yoga Education & Health Sector 23 Chandigarh, who presided as the Chief Guest. The morning session of Day 1 witnessed a flurry of activities, including the thrilling took place for various age categories like 18-28, 28-35, 35-45 and 45-55 years. The contestants participated in traditional Yogasana- single, artistic Yogasana -single Yogasana -pair and artistic Yogasana- pair.

The closing ceremony held on 17th March 2024 witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. MK Virmani advisor of Yogasana Association Chandigarh as a chief guest and Dr. MS Kamboj, chairman of Yogasana Association Chandigarh as a guest of honor. Dr. Varmani shared his inspiring life journey and motivated the players to strive for excellence in 4th coming National Championship to be held from 29th to 31st March, 2024 at Dindigul, Tamil Nadu.

Further, medals winner was honored by Dr. MK Varmani and Dr. MS Kamboj Chairman of the association in the gracious presence of Dr. Mahender Singh, Principal, Govt. College of Yoga Education & Health, Dr. RP Aeri senior vice president, Mrs. Meenakshi Thakur Vice President.

The stage was conducted by Mr. Roshan Lal and Ms. Sudha. The event concluded by Mr. Jitender Singh, Compitition Director on a patriotic note with the rendition of the national anthem.
